Best Computer game ever!!!!!!!!!!

Barbie Detective Carnival Caper,was the first computer game i ever had and i have to say it's better than any computer games in the world!

This game was fun and exiting to play. You find neat clues, follow footprints and look for handprints, and even chase suspects on cool rides. The clues and the theif/kidnapper change each time, and it is always fun to see where the clues lead you too. The only problem with it is that Barbie walks way too slow! If only she would ever run, maybe the game would be more exiting and less frustrating when you try to get her to move.

This game is fun and suspenseful...but Barbie walks way too slow. It takes me hours to play because the locations are spread out and Barbie needs a walker to get from location 2 location! It's sooooo slow. But a fun game, at that!

I don't have this game but my cousin does, she has sooo many babie comp games but this one was one of the best. Coming from a 13 year old who isn't really into barbies, this was a cool game. It gets exciting when you find clues leading you to different clues..but it really gets exciting when you see the shadow figure! In the game you can do alot of things... also it is cool when barbie uses your name when she askes you something.All in all this was a good game!
This only runs on Win 95

I had high hopes for this Barbie CD-ROM. Unfortunately, it only has drivers for Win-95. It does not support Win 98, NT, ME or 2000 (and I assume XP).
My seven year old daughter cried her eyes out because the software would not run on our Win 2k machine.
When you go to the Mattel website, they claim it is not cost effective for them to write drivers for the newer operating systems. (seems cost effective for most other companies)
If you are running anything newer than Win 95 and don't want your daughter to cry her eyes out, don't buy this game.
Fantastic 2006-11-17
This was a game I enjoyed playing when I was 6-11. Now at 13 I still sometimes pop it into the computer. It is a fun game with twists and turns. A game you can play over and over again because the clues all change. It is a game that if your daughter likes barbie she'll want to add this to her collection

this game is ok. it used to scare me very badly when i was smaller. but now i'm not afraid of it duh. it is so easy! i recomend that u play a nancy drew game instead they are way better than barbie. oh yeah and it takes ages for barbie to movie even 5 feet!!!
Fun and easy. 2005-08-20
I like this game,and I play with it everyday,but not longer.After a while can this game be boring,but this game is realy fun.I have Detective Barbie 2"the vacation mystery".
It`s just ok.Not easy like this one.
But something I hate in this game that when I catch the thief,it is only Madam Wanda and Jake who will be the thief.I just got Burt Franklen not more than 8 times.I`ve got Madam Wanda the most.
Not limited to little kids 2005-01-16
My sister and I, 12 and 14, still like this game and find it challenging when you first play it. Like others have complained, Barbie walks really slowly but it's worth it. I love Artie and his bunnies! The shadowy figure, who is the suspect, is very creepy and may not be appropriate for some younger children (We're still afraid of him!)

I found this game a bit too hard or a glitch in there.
After looking for Ken and the clues seemed futile, my daughter and I really enjoyed the rides.
We quit worrying about find Ken and figured he left the park, so we went on the rides.
It is fun, but a few minutes of rides and we were ready to leave the park.
