Great sound for these ears that have experienced to much Jimmy Hendrix Live and to close to the stage!

Would be better if there was an in line volume control.

Very comfortable. Could wear them for the whole day with no side affects.

Great for Centerpointe Holosync recordings. The experience of this technological meditation is super!

At first... thought that I had purchased a headset with the wrong connector. Out of the box it had a big plug in for an amp. I thought I saw on the website that it came with a iPodable connection. I was ready to call Sony and find out if I was missing someting, when low and behold I discovered that the large connector simply screwed off to reveal the connector that I needed and wanted.

This is an awesome product that fits comfortably on the head and over the ears. It has much better sound than the typical headphones that come with a portable CD player and with the attachment, I can listen either with my portable player or with my home stereo.

amazing sound quality & comfort

These headphones are amazing. They are so comfortable and have the best sound quality I've ever heard. I bought them for meditation but they do such a great job of blocking out sound that I also use them while studying. They are so comfortable that I can lay down with them and it feels like I'm on a pillow.

I have had these headphones before, and strongly recommend them. The last pair that I had lasted until they were stolen (hot commodity ;c)

The pair I purchased from Amazon had something rattling around in the earpiece, but other than that was in great functioning condition, and still sounded great.

I would definitely recommend these (I've owned 3 pair in my life, and the first I had for 4 years with NO problems). Take care of them, and they could last forever.

Best headphones I ever owned

I've had these headphones for at least 8 years. They've been stepped on constantly, thrown around, used for countless gaming/music listening hours, and even had my dog chew on them for a bit. They still work fine.

Great sound quality, reliable, durable, and so comfortable you don't know they're on sometimes. 5 stars.

Im currently serving Overseas and I've been having trouble lately finding that "Quiet Place" with my other headphones when I listen to my music, but with these Sony MDR-V600's I put the rest and relaxation right back at my fingertips. I advise anyone who works in a loud and crowded office or someone who simply needs a break from everyday noise to puchase these headphones for you will not regret this purchase. I ordered these after buying several (supposedly decent) pairs (and returning them).

I love these. The sound is so clear - they sound great even turned up very loud (they have the capability to go much louder than I could ever stand) Vocals are super clear, while the subtlety of the other instruments and little bell sounds and stuff on the tracks can be heard very well. Nice bass also.

I am like "the princess and the pea" when it comes to comfort, and THESE THINGS ARE SUPER COMFORTABLE!! I can hardly feel them. I wear glasses, and other headphones pressed my glasses against my head which hurts, these don't.

I don't think they mention it in the product description, but they do cancel alot of ambient noise -- my phone just rang, and I totally did not hear it with these on my head. Soooo.... I highly recommend these.
