A very good a sandpaper. It a last a long time!
Good quality and good price

After having received two boxes of varying grits, I was impressed with the quality for the reasonable price. The pads held up very well and I got a lot of use out of each pad. As a weekend woodworker, I think this isa a definate do-over when it comes to purchasing more sanding pads.
Excellent paper

Mirka makes some of the best sand paper for these small orbital sanders. Buy with confidence. I have purchased all the different grits with the same satisfaction.
Good quality at reasonable price.

I purchased a box of 50 discs in 80 grit mfg by Mirka. Was not sure what the quality would be since I had not heard of this brand name. I used on western red cedar with Bosch random orbit model 3107. My sander is agressive and these discs were totally up to the job. I sanded about 60 square feet before I noticed a slight drop off in sanding efficiency. I could have kept using the disk, but put on a new one to keep my project moving along. In total, I sanded about 150 square feet and was on my third disc when the day ended. I had no trouble with clogging, grit falling off, or the paper backer tearing. This is a quality product and I would not hesitate to buy other grits.
mediocre

I am disappointed with the Mirka discs I bought in 80, 150, and 220 grits. The reason is that they don't last very long. They simply lose their effectiveness in what seems like a fairly short time. When first used the discs sand nicely, and seem to cut rapidly without making swirl marks. Before long they are sanding very slowly, and if I use them too long they will make swirl marks. I used them on red cedar, a very soft wood, so I expected them to last at least twice as long.
I do think the grit is pretty uniform in size, as I got no swirls during the sharp cutting phase.
I actually considered sending them back, but do not have time to find and buy better ones. I think I was spoiled by the discs I used at work which were labelled "Regis".
These ARE a great value!

Good Quality, Excellent Value

I have purchased every grit of Mirka sanding disks from Amazon, and I find them to be good quality. The price per disc works out to be a great value if you purchase them in packs of 50.
I used these disks on my Bosch random-orbit sander. The hook-and-loop backing is strong and holds on through rough sanding. The aluminum oxide sanding material lasts for a good amount of time. I've used them on a variety of wood surfaces, and I have used them to remove paint, and they last long enough to take down a lot of material. I have bought other brands of sanding discs that do last longer, but the Mirka discs definitely hold up well.
The discs are packaged in a sturdy box with a cover, which makes it easy to dispense them as needed. Also, having them stored in a box keeps them clean, which helps the hook-and-loop function. This actually helps out a lot in the shop. Other brands come wrapped in plastic, and you have to find a container for them, or let them sit on a shelf and get full of sawdust. I appreciate this extra touch.
The paper stock is somewhat thin, but this does not really affect their use. Since they are stored in a box, they stay flat. Other brands, which are stored in bags, get curled up on the edges.
Bottom line: these are good quality sanding discs that last for a good amount of time, are a good value for the money, and are packaged in a convenient way.

Great 80 grit paper

Much like the 60 grit paper this has outstanding cutting and lasting capabilities. Would recommend it to anyone.
Great paper, very good on fiberglass

I have used this paper on a fiberglass kayak I am building. Compared to Norton paper that I purchased at another place, this paper has very little loading. I am still replacing it about every square yard of sanding but the Norton paper is pretty tired after about a square foot. The Norton paper also costs 5 times as much. This is a great product.
