One Tough Glue 2008-08-06
Pros:
-Really tough glue
-More flexible than super glue
-Waterproof
-Works on many surfaces, metals, wood, ceramics, some plastics, etc. Best for wood applications.

Cons:
-It expands, drips and produce tiny bubbles during the drying process. This is my biggest gripe. Definitely not for repairing your Lladros or others applications that require hairline precision.
-Glue is not clear but yellow. Very noticeable, not good if you really want a clean finish.
-Make sure you really clean the tip of the bottle or it will be hard to open and use it the next time
-Expensive

The Strength of the Jungle 2008-08-03
I entered a number of local "do-it-yourself" stores (that shall go unnamed) looking for a strong glue/adhesive to bond some laminate hardwood flooring planks to concrete slab that had come unglued after months of wear and tear. Up and down the aisles I went in search for the strongest, and cheapest, glue on the market. And then I saw it, hiding behind the "lush" collection of paint supplies: Gorilla Glue. It immediately caught my attention as it peered out from behind the confines of paint trays and rollers. I asked the attending sales associate about this product, and he looked me in the eyes and said, "I have no idea, but it sounds cool!" That was all all needed to hear. I arrived back at my house twenty-five minutes later curious and ready to make it happen. I followed the instructions on the back of the bottle and went to work. For someone not versed in the world of glues and looking for a simple, cheap way to fix a problem, I was easily impressed with Gorilla Glue's ability to get the job done. I highly recommend it to the working folks who are too busy to get to those projects around the house! Trust the gorilla...

Gorilla Glue cleanup 2008-01-02
Gorilla Glue is a great glue, holds strong, but don't use it on ceramics! I used it to glue a ceramic/porcelain foo dog. An hour later I saw the hard, foam-like ooze coming from each seam! I ended up having to scrape it off with a sharp edged knife. For the remainder I had to use fine steel wool soaked in mineral spirits. It took a long time but eventually it came off.

Find something that adheres wood better... just try. 2007-10-15
There are a couple complaints from people saying how the glue didn't work on some other materials... like stone or ceramic. That's not what this stuff is for... it's for wood. Use it on wood, it'll do well. Very well.

The wood needs to be mildly moist, as this stuff reacts to moisture. The wood needs to be clamped, as this stuff expands. It's polyurethane foam, for the most part. I haven't found another commercially available wood glue that works half as well as this does for it's intended purpose.

Maybe glue, but NOT good for woodworking! 2007-06-25

KILLER GLUE 2007-01-05
This glue works on nearly everything! It is awesome. It did not work on the broken flagstone piece on the porch, but hey.
1. You have to clamp what you glue
2. Careful!! When they say use a little they mean it. It expands as it dries. Last project ended up with solid drips on the garage floor.
3.Top tends to get glued to the bottle. I use a little wood dowel, works great.

The worst glue I have ever used 2006-10-23
You will never be able to guess the right amount of glue to use since it has a huge foaming problem. Items that I glued ended up uneven with hard foam coming out of the ends. When I used it on something outdoors the glue cracked and disintegrated within a few weeks. This stuff is overpriced junk and I'll bet the five star reviews come from those marketing Gorilla Glue. Marketing seems to be the secret of success not performance. If you want to try what I think is the best glue go out and buy GOOP.

Has its uses. 2006-06-25
This is a very good strong bonding glue formula, but I find that its not valuable in some applications. For example I used this to put a velcro patch on a piece of foam and it worked great. I have stressed the patch and no problems.
However, in furnature applications this glue is a waste of time. It is as stated before tricky to use and time consuming. When you are glueing a project up I want to be done quickly and accuratly. This glue may give accuracy, but speed is questionable and the end result is sub par. It does leave a stain and it does leave allot of work after it has dried. My recomendation is to use a good yellow glue like titebond which gives a superior joint and it is easy to work with all around.
So in summation think about the end result that you wish to achieve with this glue because it does have its place, but furnature construction is not one of them.

It sure aint Elmers folks. Scary stuff but works 2006-01-12
This stuff works like no other glue I've ever used. Beware this stuff is Dangerous. I approach it like working with plutonium. I don't even let the kids see me working with the stuff because I'm afraid they might get ideas. Do not let this stuff drip on anything, and I mean anything. One little drop and you might as well use it as science project. Just remember this isn't everyday house glue, it's a bonding agent.
