I am so glad I bought this gadget! It saved me so much time installing pulls on doors and drawers. I tried the cheap plastic ones you can buy at home improvement stores but they were worthless. Definitely invest in this if you have more than a few pulls or knobs to install.

Man, all i can say is i wouldn't think about doing any cabinets without this jig. You still have to measure and get the first one straight but then after that you can fly through the rest. This was especially quick when doing cabinets vs. drawers. I still would not do drawers without the jig. The price was more than i was really wanting to pay (50 dollars), but after i got the jig i was pleased with the quality. It should last more than my lifetime. I could have made a jig, but i would have spent a good bit more time building jigs than i spent installing all my drawers/cabinets hardware.

These are VERY useful in knob and handle installations in cabinet doors and drawers. I only wish that there weren't so many various sizes of D type handles on the market.

This jig is worth every penny if you do a lot of cabinets/hardware. It is dead-on accurate, highly adjustable and durable.
Just make sure to check all adjustments for tightness periodically during the job.

Bought this to put handles on all the cabinet doors and drawers in my house. Worked very well, couldn't really ask for anything else in the design, simple and accurate. Tried the cheap green plastic one from Home Depot, pretty much a waste of time, save your money and get one of these if you have more than 4-5 handles to install.

I had been using the plastic type of layout tool untill I ran into a job that had very wide handles, 160mm to be exact. And I had to layout each handle one at a time. This tool allows you to set it up once and go! Perfect mirror images on cupboard doors. Repeatability is a snap. A must have to install pull knobs and handles.

I install cabinets full time and this jig is the only way to go. Once it is set all you have to do is drill holes. the price is well worth it considering if you drill one door wrong it costs you $150.00. I'm only giving it 4 stars because it is time consuming to adjust. The picture in tool cribs catalog shows a jig that is adjusted with thumb screws but the jig you get requires an allen wrench and when you're trying to hold everything in place the wrench can be a pain. Other than that one of the best tools I have ever bought.
REPLACE THOSE HAND-MADE JIGS 2001-01-03
This is the tool for door drilling. The accuracy is great and convienence of adjust is as well. i never have to make replacement drilling jigs that get the holes wallered out. and it is almost idiot proof (sorry sean). A good choice for the cabinet builder or installer. you will be glad you chinned the pole for this one!
