Great Companion

When studying, this cartridge is a great companion. Rather than thumbing through pages, I can find scriptures quickly by typing the scriptures or keyword. I also like the notes and bookmark features. The only drawback I have is that it doesn't have a voice feature, so it doesn't pronounce words. This would have been a helpful feature to include.

I just want to say that this has been one of the best purchases I have ever made. First, I started off with a handheld KJV bible that I paid about $50 for. For the amount of time I had it, it was wonderful. However, God put it on my heart to be a blessing to someone else and give it to them.
Then, I recently purchased a Franklin Electronic Collegiate Dictionary due to getting back in school, and brushing up on words since I've been ministering the word of God as of late. When I found out I could the add the bible to my dictionary, I was like, "God you are tooooooooooo GOOD!". Ever since I've been using this device, it has been amazing. I highly recommend to anyone who wants to take the bible with them anywhere

This cartridge is an excellent accessories while reading. Rather than turning to scriptures in the Bible, I can type in a scripture and read it quickly. I highly recommend it.

I bought this Holy Bible Bookman card to add to a dictionary I had from Franklin. I have really enjoyed having it. It's been easy to use and I find the Help button really is helpful. I have used this Bible card a lot and find the search feature particularly helpful when you just can't remember where a specific verse is. It's so convenient to have this card on my dictionary. It's really nice to have God's Word so handy! I have been very pleased with it and am glad Franklin made it available and for such an affordable price.

The KJV Bookman card adds the text of the KJV Bible to your bookman device; For example, I use mine with the Webster dictionary.
If you read the Bible often, if you find yourself trying to locate a verse or phrase, or if you're participating in a Bible study, the KJV Bible in Bookman card would be a great choice. The card offers much much more than a book printed on paper:
- You can jump to any book, chapter or verse instantly (there's a simple notation for specifying a location in the Bible).
- You can search for words, phrases, use pattern matching, etc. The card lets you determine the approximate distance between words in a given search, which is a great feature -- this will let you narrow down on even complex searches, so you get be at the chapter and verse within seconds.
- The KJV is annotated with notes to clarify difficult words, etc.
- [THIS IS THE BEST] If you come across a verse you want to remember -- just bookmark is with a single keystroke. You can have several bookmarks, and you can jump to any bookmark with a single click.
And, of course, if you're reading somewhere within the Bible and all of a sudden you need to turn your unit off, you can subsequently turn it back on and it will be show the same screen as before you turned it off. This feature is great when in transit -- you can just shut down the unit, get on or off a bus, and then turn it back on when you want to read some more. Another great feature is that you can choose the size of the letters -- if you have a hard time reading a printed version of the Bible, just select the larger size letters and read away.
I like my unit and use it a lot. Together with a Franklin dictionary, this makes a great combination: Read a book or an article or a novel, see a word you don't know, look it up in the dictionary; See something you suspect is a reference to the Bible, just switch to the KJV and search for it.
