Features for Energizer L91BP 4 AA Lithium Batteries 4 Pack :
- Power lasts up to 7-times longer than similar alkaline battery
- Battery chemistry and construction differ in the two systems. Energizer e2 Lithium batteries are built in a spirally wound construction. This design helps the battery meet the high current drains of many of today's devices
- Since lithium is a very active material, it provides a great deal of power relative to the amount of material used. Lithium is not considered a heavy metal
- When powering a device, you should only use a lithium battery with other lithium batteries - not compatible for use alongside an alkaline
- This battery is not rechargeable

Excellent battery for medium to high drain applications

I bought these for my wife's digital camera, as she had been replacing the batteries very frequently. The first set we put in the camera are still being used, and they would have been replaced at least 4 times by now, so she is thrilled with them.
They have a 3AH rating, which is significantly higher than an alkaline battery of the same size. They will also store for much longer; About 15 years.
I will up my rating to 5 if the batteries in my wife's camera last another expected 2 changes, as this would cross the payback point.
Great For Digital Cameras

If you want a long lasting battery for your camera, this is it. I have a Canon A720IS, and have shot over 700 photos and the batteries are still okay. Almost all the shots are without flash and outside.
My other camera is a Canon A570IS and is used as my underwater camera (Ikelite housing). I got 350 shots with the first set using lots of flash, and about 275 on the 2nd set that were all flash.
Though they are more expensive, they do last longer and when you are underwater, you don't have the option of changing out batteries.
Nice for cameras

I really like these batteries for our camera. They last much longer than more standard alkaline batteries, even from the major vendors.
Great for a backup!

I purchased these to keep in my camera case just in case I ever need them. I'm sure they will work as expected. I wish I purchased Sanyo Eneloops before this purchase because they work great!! Don't think I would ever need these anyway. These Energizers have a great shelf life.
Best batteries out there

i originall purchased a set of these back in 2002 for my cd player it was goin through a set of duracell batteries in a day (8 hours or less) so i tried these and they lasted 4 hours longer..wow
in 2003 i bought a sony atrac3plus mp3 cd player and it stated it had a battery life consumption of 70 hours and it did, i put a set of these in the player and it lasted me a month....no lie i wouldnt use any other brand of battery (that isnt rechargable), i recently purchased tyhe sony quick charger and it is amazing too, i just got tired of buying batteries, you know, but these litium are the best hands down
great batteries......

i just came back from doing a national parks and canyons tour and i took close to 900 pictures with these batteries. i have an Oly SP 570UZ and these batteries are great for this type of snap and shoot camera. highly recommend! only one thing, they tend to get a bit warm so i took them out once i knew i wasn't going to take anymore pics.
Energizer Lithium Batteries Review

Excellent product........even better than advertised.
One problem...I have total faith in Amazon best pricing, and since I
bought from you, found several local establishments, Ex. Walgreen's that are selling it for much less with no shipping and handling charges. I will be very careful to cost compare in the future.
Depends on the application.

I love these batteries!
Something to consider tho, is that a Warehouse Club 48-pack of regular 2800ma alkalines are about the same price. So for low-current applications where maximum life, cold weather performance, weight, etc. isn't critical, there are much more cost-effective choices.
AND speaking of critical, I had a little digital safe at the office (for postage stamps, the checkbook, spare car keys, and such) that ran on AA's. I used it for years on regular alkalines and replaced them every 3 months or so. When the alkalines got low, it would still weakly open 5 or 10 times to give me plenty of time to change them. When I switched to a set of these lithiums (to reduce how often I had to do the replacement procedure) they lasted just over twice as long, BUT when they died, they were totally gone-ola. I think they're way better at putting out full voltage to the end - which is ordinarily what you want out of a battery, unless you lock the manual-opening keys in the safe itself!
Good

The best battery that you can ever find!if you simply calculate, you wil understand that it's cheaper than Alkaline!
The Absolute Best Non-Rechargable Batteries
2008-05-01
If you are going to a foreign country and need long lasting (but non-rechargable) batteries for your digital camera (assuming it uses standard batteries), get a few packs of lithium batteries from Amazon. Yes, they are somewhat more expensive but they will last MUCH MUCH longer than any comparable non-rechargable battery. Remember, if you use rechargable batteries overseas you will need a compatible plug-in charger for the country you are in. That can be a real hassle. Lithium batteries also have unbelievably long storage times...many many years!
