Editorial Review
DropChute Pro 3.0 is software that offers instant file delivery. It lets you send files of any kind and size instantly, via Internet, intranets, or modems. When you need to exchange large, time-critical, or confidential files with associates, DropChute Pro offers an alternative to e-mail and FTP. It works through dial-up or fixed Internet connections, TCP/IP networks, or any modem that's supported by Windows. Send documents, graphics, spreadsheets, and programs; even send complete folders or drives. The files are sent straight to others' PCs, so that you can send huge files quickly, without clogging mail servers. The files arrive intact, as they never get encoded and decoded like they do with e-mail; they come through in their original form. If sending is interrupted, DropChute Pro reconnects and resumes where it left off. If the other PC is off or not online, files remain on your PC and are sent the instant that the other PC is available. DropChute Pro is easy to use. The software helps you create icons on your desktop to represent other people. You give them free software that lets them exchange files with you. To deliver files, you drop them on the person's icon on the Windows desktop or in the convenient DropChute Pro Phonebook. Or right-click on files that you want to send in any Windows folder (or in other applications' Open or Save As dialog boxes), and select Send To. When the wizard pops up, you specify how you want your files delivered--and away they go. Cached date: AWS Called=true
