Not just for cookies
2008-05-08
I work with polymer clay and these graduated rounds are exactly what I was looking for, and not just for circles. I can make perfect crescent shapes with them, too. The cutting edge is clean and sharp and the see-through design makes perfect placement a cinch.
Be sure to dry completely before storing or they rust

I love these except that if they are not totally dry when putting away, they rust so beware of that before it happens to you.
Another Great Product

I bought these along with a set of square cutters. And I use these cutters for just about everything, Cutting crepes, Ham, and of course cookies. The uses are unlimited. There very well made. I hand wash mine and dry by hand and then put them away till the next time. I would expect these to last a very long time.
The kids wont' stop using them!

My girls use these for everything!! From making sandwiches to play-dough. I wonder if I'll ever get to use them. LOL I've had them several yrs and they haven't lost their shape.

Ateco Cutters 11 piece set Complete with a tin storage box. Set of 11 round, stainless-steel cutters. The cutters range in size from 3/4 inch high to 3-5/8 inches high, and they have rolled edges on top to protect fingers during the cutting process.
More than biscuits
2007-12-31
They're your basic biscuit cutter, but also do a good job when cutting out puff dough, or layered cookies that require a filling in the center. Be sure to dry them after washing, because I can already see a little trace of rust on the bottom of the tin. So just be sure to keep them clean and dry and in their neat little tin! It would be nice if the size was indicated on the side of the rounds, but you can pretty much eyeball it.
Exactly what I needed

I no longer have to search the house for a 1 1/2 inch circle. I can now make circles in 11 different sizes! The circles all store nicely in thier tin.
Well Made, No Clutter
2007-06-18
I am thrilled with the quality of this set. Extremely well made with every size imaginable in a handly storage tin for a very reasonable price. Granted, there is the rust issue. But just make sure they are dry before putting them away, and I'm sure you will be as happy as I.
Perfect for the casual baker
2007-05-13
Other reviewers have complained of the lack of measurements on these cutters. While I see where that could be a problem for a professional baker, they fit my needs perfectly. I just grab the size I think looks right.
The biggest benefit is the storage. This tuck away perfectly in the back of a drawer so they aren't in the way. They are a bit delicate and would bend under pressure, but no more so than many other kitchen utensils that must be handled with care. I've used these to cut homemade pasta for tortellini, biscuits, drop cookies, and as a ring mold for plating potatoes, risottos and cous cous.
