Kitchen Aid Classic Mixer

Unfortunately my review is not going to be one of the best. I purchased the mixer and was pleased with its rapid arrival. However, upon using it three times, the motor failed, and now I'm stuck trying to figure out how to return it. I'm disappointed with the product, not your service. Will order something from Amazon.com after I get a working mixer.

This is the third mixer that I have bought as gifts. The mixer has gotten rave reviews from them. There has not been one complaint about this mixer! Buy without hesitation.

Kitchen Aid mixer

I am very impressed with the quality of this mixer. When I made homemade cookies, I had to hand mix them. With this mixer, it took all the hard work out of making cookies and it was a joy to bake again. Anyone interested in a mixer, this is the brand to get. I give it 5 stars. It is one of the best kitchen products I have bought!

A Stand Mixer that creates lots of treasured memories

I bought it for my daughter and had to give it to her before Christmas. She and my two grandaughters made lots of cookies, and pasta, and had a blast making memories, we took lots of pictures, measuring, and mixing, and scraping. Great price too.

I have seen this mixer it the stores for $299.00/$200.00. Got mine at Amazon.com for $129.00 Top of the Line mixer. I have wanted one for years. Now I have one.

They don't make 'em like they used to

We made the mistake of using the included dough hook to make bread. It didn't make it through the second batch, and while it still works it hasn't been the same since. It's leaked an oily substance ever since, and it's struggling to do some simple mixing jobs. The last time we had it out, the motor started to struggle while whipping egg whites for meringues. It's only 2-3 years old now, but I'll be surprised if we get 5 years use out of it.

Prefect for Amateur Home Baker (otherwise, go bigger)

This stand mixer, a real classic piece of kitchenware, is just perfect for the amateur home chef or baker. It is like having your own prep team there to whip egg whites into meringue, knead pizza dough for 30 minutes, or just keep stirring while you add a stream of hot butter. I was happy with this for years until my hobby became an obsession (and my light reading included confectionery text books).

My only complaint with this sturdy standby is that it is no longer large enough to deal with the yields I'm demanding. I also tend to store it in the pantry instead of on the counter for space. I did not buy any of the attachments either, so this is based solely on the item as is (stand, bowl, paddle, whisk and dough hook). They did not seem necessary, although I heard a rumor there was an option with one model for an ice-bath bowl. That would be VERY helpful. Other than that - she's a classic kitchen icon. A must have.

On a side note, white may not be as sleek and stylish as the chrome, but it is so much easier to keep clean.

Excellent product

This KitchenAid is a treasure. Easy to use (and I never used one before)
and it worked perfectly. I made my first two cakes (in my whole life!) and
served them at Thanksgiving and got kudos all around.

Also the delivery was almost instantanous and I couldn't have been more
satisfied.

Absolutely amazed by this mixer. It replaces about 6 different appliances that I would normally use and it's easy to clean! The only caveat that I have is that the attachments are SO expensive. Also if you do a lot of dough mixing or heavy duty stuff like that I would recommend buying the Artisan (a step up from this one). Another thing is that none of the attachments made by Kitchen Aid fully gets the stuff on the side of the bowls so occasionally you will have to shut it off...scrape the side and then continue on. Otherwise than that this is a great buy and I recommend it for everyday use.
