Editorial Review
Zoboomafoo (pronounced Zah-BOO-mah-foo) is a wildlife series produced specifically for preschoolers. The show features great puppetry, fun songs, guessing games, and amusing animated segments. Hosts Martin and Chris Kratt are two animal-loving brothers who have befriended a lovable Lemur (puppet) named Zoboo and make daily sojourns to visit him in a rustic cabin called Animal Junction. Wild animals are frequent guests at Animal Junction, and Chris, Martin, and Zoboo always have a wealth of information to share about each new visitor.

This 47-minute video features excerpts from the PBS television series and stars some of nature's cutest babies. There's the foal that's wandered into Animal Junction and wants to run--if only the Kratt brothers can find a way to move that fallen tree. As the brothers scheme, Zoboo asks viewers, "Who could it be?" as he describes the characteristics of several different animals with accompanying animated pictures. Zoboo reminisces about the many baby animals that have visited Animal Junction, such as a black bear cub, alligator, black jaguar cub, puppies, zebra, and chicks. The recollections are accompanied by footage of the animals exploring Animal Junction, several fun expeditions into the wild, and a generous sprinkling of comic mishaps involving Chris and Martin. There are also several visits to the clay animation world of Zobooland. The Kratt brothers make a point of stressing the dangerous nature of all wild animals and suggest that they are best suited to life in the wild. This is an entertaining and educational show that's highly recommended. (Ages 3 to 9) --Tami Horiuchi

A Very Educational video for young kids. 2005-12-27
Unlike today's tv shows that only has violence and things not good for small childen, Zaboomafoo is perfect for kids little or big!

Kids learn about animals and in this video, baby animals.
Like my sister who finally found out what a baby elephant looks like!

One of the best children's videos 2001-12-20
This tape is excellent. We do not get cable so our PBS channel does not come in very good. I got this tape for my 15-month-old. It combines the action parts of 5 shows on baby animals, so it is non-stop fun! There are over a dozen baby animals, whereas a typical show shows only 3 or 4 animals. This tape looks fantastic and sounds great too. The Kraft brothers look younger then on TV, since I guess they used older shows. Still it is just as fun and entertaining. A wonderful fun animal treat for the whole family, but your toddler will enjoy it most as it was intended. Buy this one and you will not be disappointed.

Zoboo's Little Pals 2001-10-25
This tape is typical Chris and Martin. It is great for children and even for adults who love animals. I work with school age children and all kids love it. Their "learning without knowing it" style allows children to have fun and gain knowledge at the same time. Highly recommended!!

My child's favorite 2001-03-16
Zoboomafoo is my 2 year olds favorite show. He wants to watch it everyday and would gleefully watch it over and over if allowed. He can now identify so many new animals that he otherwise might not see. Chris and Martin do a great job making the show fun and educational for viewer of all ages.

Zoboomafoo 2000-10-12
My nephew LOVES Zoboo and all of his friends, including Martin and Chris. This video, and the other Zoboo ones as well, are wonderful! Not only does he learn from it, but I do too! P.S It's for Big kids (35 year olds), too!

My son LOVES Zoboomafoo 2000-10-06

Barney and Teletubbies Beware 2000-09-28
This is, in my and Jared's opinion, the best of all of the Kratt Brother's videos. This series has freed my VCR from the monopolistic rule of B____ and those T_______. I actually have learned things about animals through these shows and my three year old asks for "amimal junxion" whenever he gets to choose a video to watch. It isn't flaky and since it isn't based solely on singing and dancing, will likely have some longevity in your VCR library. Great tape, I'd get it (okay, I already did :)
