Editorial Review
Just think! No more ashes to empty or propane tanks to fill! Safe, electric heat does it all and clean up is super easy too. Use it indoors on a counter or outdoors with the pedestal base. The non-stick grill plate allows fats and grease to drip away from food, and is totally immersible for thorough cleaning. The adjustable temperature control allows you to grill of course, and to keep foods warm as well. A lid gives you the option of moist heat, and two nylon tools enable you to flip, turn, and move the food around as needed.

A truly great grill!!!!!! 2008-06-05
The George Forman indoor/outdoor grill is the best. It is so easy to assemble and even easier to use. The best part is that you don't have to lug heavy bags of charcoal or ride around with propaine tanks in your car. You do not have to worry about explosions or open flames. You get the great grilled taste without the worry or hassle. Clean up is just as easy. No ashes to dump or grill grates to scrap. A little soapy water and a sponge is all it takes to clean this grill. I love it. It has replaced my gas grill and I'll never go back. This is a great product.

Way to go, George! 2008-05-22
This is a cool grill. And so easy to clean! After dinner, I just tell my girlfriend "Clean the grill, honey", and it's done! But be careful, the hood can get very hot when the grill is on high. My girlfriend's cat jumped on it from the nearby countertop. Ouch! It singed the hairs on her little paws. Oh well, at least it taught that little feline a lesson.

George Forman grill a TKO! 2008-05-21
Just simply a great grilling product. Easy enough to clean up.
Make sure you are aware of the lid becoming heated while grilling
and not grabbing it quickly. Also, knowing it was a certain height
before purchase is important.
If you live in an apartment or Condo, it is a nice outdoor addition
to the spring/summer months spent out on the balcony or patio.
Worth the price. :)

Exactly what I expected and better 2008-05-19
I found the grill in brown at a department store which I thought was a plus, looks cool. Although it turned out to be a little smaller than I expected, it was plenty big enough to cook anything I would want to. First I cooked six marinated chicken breasts. The result was great, and easy cleanup. Then, since there were directions in the book for baking, which I wouldn't have thought of, I baked some short ribs in a covered pan on the grill for 2 hours with the lid closed. I usually bake them in the oven and this was so much better, didn't heat up the house or make any messes in my oven. If you don't want to mess with charcoal or gas this is the way to go, a nice looking little grill that's very easy to clean - immersible!

Excellent grill but dented 2008-05-15
The grill is very easy to use and it's at a convenient height. We have had some excellent results from the meals on the grill. The only problem at all is when we unpacked the grill the lid was dented. The dent is about the size of a softball. I notified the manufactured by e-mail when I unpacked it. So far there has been no response.

A wonderful indoor grill 2008-07-24
I love George Foreman grills. I have two of them. One is a flat grill with a lid on and the other is GGR50B that I am writing a review about. I purchased GGR50B January when heavy snow downed all over the city and it was my oldest's birthday. It was easy to set up and operate for a person like me who do not know much about machenical stuff. Setting up the grill was actually done within 5 minutes.

I was a little worried about the electricity bill coming the next month. However, I was so surprised to notice that the bill the month came out to be as much as it used to be. Rather a lot of saving compared to using our traditional gas oven, with which I had to pay hundreds of $$ for a few times of cooking. This grill is a great energy saver! When you set the temperature to 350 - 400, it heats up to the setting in a minute and hibernates itself unless you open up the lid too often. Our electric bill never goes over $40-$50 a month, which is a lot cheaper than using a gas oven that used to make me pay $200-250 a month. The truth is electricity is cheapter than gas!!! Now i have paid off the gas bill that was a little behind, and never need to use the gas oven again! I cook meat, pizza, fish sticks, cheese sticks, hamburgers, buns, rice( put rice in a little steal pot and put the pot on the grill ), picnic pork shoulder, and anything I could imagine is possible with this George Foreman GGR50B grill.

Cons: Too bad the lower body is made of plastic. If it was made of steal and was compatible with charchoal use, this grill would be the best grill ever.

Does not heat up 2008-07-02
This grill does not heat up enough for steak.
You can fix grilled vegetables, hamburgers, meatballs, chicken thighs or salmon just fine as those will taste great with lower temperatures and longer cooking time.
I have wasted more than $100 worth steak on this on several occasions, hoping that the grill will live up to the expectations this time. You just end up boiling the meat in its own juice, and the most tender cut eventually gets inedible.
I had the same experience when I bought the removable plate next grilleration after my old george foreman. Maybe there's some safety issue, but in any case, -repeat- this grill is not fit for steak, FYI.

Three words say it all: Made in China 2008-06-25
The heating element stopped working within 6 months of purchase.
The unit also continually tripped an indoor breaker. Maybe I can
use it as an outdoor planter, although the condo board would
surely disapprove.

Disappointed George Forman Indoor/Outdoor Grill 2008-06-18
this grill was a disappointment. The actual cooking top is 17" although from the description it appears to be 22". Our original Forman grill was 22". This grill is less sturdy.Generally the quality is not as good.

Handy 2008-06-16
I took this on an RV vacation and found it handy. It worked well without the mess of charcoal & the need for a tank. If you have electricity available this is a good grill.
