Great locks because you can set your own code. Having these locks are great because you'll be carrying less keys!!!

Good little lock easy to change. Haven't had anyone try to break into it so don't know how secure it is but it seems good and I love having all my combo locks have the same combo.
Easy to Set

This lock is great. It is easy to set the combination to whatever you want it to be and it is easy to operate.
Does it's job but sometimes tough to unlock

I like having the security of a Master Lock with the ability to change the combination. Although, I feel that it takes me longer now to turn the dials and unlock this device versus using the old, standard combination locks.
Kinda cheap

Has its Drawbacks

I got this lock for the gym, after freaking out thinking I lost the key to my lock. No key to lose here.
The lock isn't small, and for some reason, the '0's and '3's stick out about 1/4". It seems like it is quite secure, and although I don't want a suitcase lock, I don't need Fort Knox either.
But the big drawback is: You can't just close it from any position. It will only close with the combination set. So you can't hand it to anyone and ask them to lock it (unless you want them to know the combination). Besides it creates twice the work to use it. You have to set the combination to open it, and again to close it.
With a little time, since the tumblers (?) aren't perfectly machined, it can be picked without a lot of trouble. Remember in school when you could pick half the locks by just putting slight pressure on the shackle and spinning the dial till you hit a loose spot?
But like I said I don't need Fort Knox. I just wish it could be locked without having the combination set.
Also the dials are made from plastic, so you could easily just break one off with a screwdriver and have the lock opened in less than a minute. So don't buy it for any location where it will sit unattended too long. If I was willing to waste the $7 I paid, I could prove my theory that not only could you get it open quickly, but you could do it with someone standing right behind you and they wouldn't even know you were breaking into the lock.
At least I no longer have to worry about lost keys though.
Incovenient

This lock is inconvenient with other locks. It is supposed to lock by using the right hand to hook in the locker but this lock is designed for the left hand user(not for a normal right hand user).
Excellent gym lock!

I just found this lock this morning in the local hardware store. I needed something to take to the gym with me. I was pleasantly surprised with it considering it only cost $12.00. It is just the right size and shape to carry in your pocket. When the zeros are all turned up into the loop of the lock, it's a compact package. Setting the combination is child's play. It works very smootly while still feeling very secure.
ALIGNMENT BAR

just make sure that the lock is facing you (where you align the numbers)before you lock it or else you would have a hard time
openning it because now the alignment bar is not facing you.
