Better than I had expected.

I had been having more trouble this year with getting down and up while working in my yard and garden. I tried to be in a postion close to something I could pull myself up. The Rumford Gardener has solved this problem. It is, in fact, much stronger than it looks. I have used it both to sit on and to kneel on while working. And when folded, it's stores easily and out of sight. It's great. Only wish I'd had it sooner. Joan Ross

Perfect for scrubbing floors and other household use

I not only love this garden kneeler/seat for outdoor use, I think Rumford could double it sales at least, if they realized its potential for indoor use. I can no longer kneel without pain. It occurred to me that I could use it for scrubbing floors and other odd chores where I need to be on my hands and knees. So I bought a second kneeler/seat for the house. I also add an extra foam kneeling cushion pad from Fiskar, and I don't experience any pain at all. I think it matters that I can lift my weight by using the leverage of the Rumford seat arms (legs?) rather than just pushing up from the floor.
I think Rumford might consider offering an additional cusion pad for comfort. I realize that their seat material is truly durable, but it isn't enought for sensitive knees.

Multipurpose folding gardeners kneeler/seat

This is a good rendition of the classic folding gardener's kneeler/seat. I use them for handy work around the house and as a photographer's companion which allows me to sit, kneel, and get up and down with knees no longer young. This one is made of steel. I would like a lighter one, aluminum, for photography but this one works just fine.

I love this Gardner's Kneeler/Seat. It is higher off the ground than others I have seen. If you have knee, back or neck problems, this is the Kneeler/ Seat for you. It flips over to use as a kneeler, which my husband appreciates. Just push the sides down, and it can be stored away.Thanks for a good product.

This product is exactly what I needed. I would recommend it to anyone who has trouble getting up or down when working in the garden. It is especially good when you have Desert landscaping as I do.

I ordered this for my mother who is 90 and had broken her leg several years ago. She is a little unstable climbing to reach items on a top shelf and thanks me often for this little stool. She also will be able to use it working her flower bed. She really likes it.

This product is sturdy but also very lightweight and compact since it folds up. The handles make it great for getting up and down from the kneeling position especially for people with any kind of knee joint problem. It helps you to put the weight on other parts of your body in lifting up. The bench pad is comfortable for the knees to rest on. It is also very handy that it can be used as bench seat as well. I would highly recommend it for anyone who does a lot of gardening or yard work. It is well worth the cost.

My husband and I both have a kneeler/seat and we love them. I have used mine for five years for gardening, weeding flowers beds, - basically anything dealing with growing outdoor plants. It sure helps my back as I can work from a comfortable kneeling or sitting position. Weeding is not my favorite task but this device makes it much more bearable!

My husband received his two years ago as a Christmas gift as he kept "borrowing" mine to use when he worked on the mower, 4-wheelers, concrete patching, etc. It really saves his knees when he works on hard surfaces.

The kneeler/seat is well made. You clean it using your garden hose. The legs collapse for easy storage. For our uses, it is far better than a knee pad as it keeps you off the ground when it is wet and off the concrete when it is hot. Well worth the money!!!
