Editorial Review
UV filters are considered a standard accessory for every SLR lens, including the lens that may have been included with your camera. The size is designed to fit the threads in front of your lens. It protects the actual lens from dust, fingerprints, and other small substances that can harm image results. The filter is also easier to keep clean. That's why it should always remain on your camera. The filter has threads to accept any other effect filters you may wish to add.

Cheap, works fine. 2008-05-09
No problems with this filter. Using it on a nikon 18-200 VR and it works just fine.

filter 2008-05-08
This filter is great, it does absolutely nothing, which is just what I want. I screwed it onto the end of my nikor 18-200mm vr lens and it fits perfectly and prevents dust from getting on my actual lens so i can clean the filter with no worries.

Tiffen 72mm UV Protection Filter 2008-05-06
This filter is a replacement for a previous Tiffen 72mm filter that "saved the life" of a Nikon VR lens that was dropped during a recent shoot. I've always had good luck with Tiffen filters and will continue to purchase them in the future.

72mm ND 0.9 filter 2008-04-05
I needed a darker neutral density filter than I already had. I got this one and used it on a recent vacation to shoot some sunrises and sunsets. I was extremely pleased with the results. Also, I thought the price on Amazon was excellent. There are other brands out there that cost more, but I have always liked Tiffen products, and knew that I would have no issues with it.

UV Protection Filter 2008-03-31
Excellent UV protection filter that is well worth the money to protect your valuable lens.

UV Protection Filter does it's job 2008-07-12
Ordered this filter from Amazon after I bought my camera. Wish I had purchased it when I bought my lens. The nice thing about a filter is you can worry more about taking pictures and less about protecting your lens. Good price and no noticeable picture degradation when using this filter. Just used this filter in Hawaii and it protected my lens from the salty sea air near the beach. Definitely recommend getting a cleaning kit to accompany the filter.

6 point star filter 2008-07-06
This filter I use for special lighting effects, (like christmas lights and have tired sun rises).. I have work with a four point star filter however the six point works better...You can do alot with these specialized filters

Excellent for spooky mood images 2008-06-08
Looking through the viewfinder - you see nothing, since all visible light is blocked.

Looking at the final pictures - the blue sky is black, leaves and clouds are white - a spooky effect - very cool.

Horrible Packing 2008-05-20
The filter was shipped in an open plastic box, no plastic bag to wrap the filter. The filter was quite dirty when it came. Bought 3 Tiffen filters and all three are like this.
Still thinking whether I should return this.

Tiffen 72mm 6-point star filter 2008-05-11
This is not what they have shown, it is a cheap Hoya filter. They lie about this item & it is a trap. They were going to push me for a Hoya instead of Tiffen filter. They are not honest people!

In a couple of hundred pages, it includes using a scanner and Adobe Photoshop Elements 2 to rescue faded, damaged family photos, the basic guidelines to good picture taking, how to use Elements 2 to improve your digital photos, and how to print and preserve your pictures for the ages. White, the author of the bestseller "How Computers Work," knows how to pack a lot of helpful, understandable information in a brief no nonsense book.

Review: "This Camera is one of the best in its price range. It takes beautiful clear pictures and can be used right out of the box, but its worth learning all its features. The included memory holds about 20-25 pictures so I upgraded to 128mb. I reccomend getting a 128mb card and the Sony camera case. Not only is this one of the best cameras in its class it includes decent software and rechargeable batteries that are at least a 20$ value.
HIGHLY reccomend over canon, kodak, and fuji. One more thing this camera has CARL Zeiss lens (if you dont know, great lens) all the competetors have generic lens."
