Editorial Review
The First Years' popular bottle warmer works with all bottle styles -- standard, wide-necked, angled, even disposables. You can also use it to warm jars of baby food. It keeps bottles cold for up to eight hours, then warms a chilled bottle in minutes. Features an auto shut-off for added safety and a built-in night light that helps makes late-night feedings a little easier. Bottles not included.

Perfect 2008-02-08
It's fast, it's efficient and economical. The cooler is the best feature. When you warm the bottles than if you can't feed at the time the cooler will keeep the bottles warm. So you save time and the time you saved can be use for doing things for you. That is a great factor I rate it above five stars.

Use this everyday 2007-12-25
Seriously, this product is not bad. Read the directions and use some practice times before you set it up for night use. I use it everynight in my daughters upstairs bedroom. It saves running downstairs for a bottle or having her cry through the house as I take her downstairs. The lids on the water holders are snug as to hold the water in. As long as you get the bottle warming THEN pick up your baby then you're fine. The warmer will warm a bottle different each time depending on when you made it, i.e. has it been in the fridge for 1 hour or 6 hours? It will be colder the longer it has been in the fridge thus not warming the same as a bottle just made an hour ago. As I said, practice a bit to find what works and it's a good product to use. Also, do not heat bottles with the nipples etc. on, leave the bottle top open. And if you use the Dr. Browns the 80z DO fit in it you just can not have a cap on it in the cold area. I use this everyday and it works great for me.

Good after you get used to it 2007-12-23
I really appreciate this warmer during the night when I don't want to get up to go to the fridge, possibly having to turn a light on, to get a bottle while the kid is screaming, then still have to warm it while the kid is still screaming. You do have to play around with the water amounts, but my child doesn't have to have it "just right," he only wants the coldness edge taken off. I've never had it warm a bottle too much, actually. I do find that it is somewhat inconsistent. Just make sure to check the temp before giving a bottle to the baby.

Love it -- but it takes a good "touch" 2007-08-22
I received this as a gift from a coworker, and just wish I'd had it for my first baby! As previous reviewers have noted, the chart giving water measurements for warming bottles is wildly inaccurate -- but, without making a truly complicated grid taking into account whether the bottle is cold, cool, or luke-warm, and bottle shape and size, I'm not sure how they could do a better job with the instructions.

Here's the low-down: it's as good a warmer as any I have tried, and the cooler makes it WONDERFUL for those of us living in two-story houses. I don't have to stumble down stairs in the dark as I did with my first child, which means it takes less time and I lose less sleep (new moms will appreciate this!).

Here's what I've learned about warming wide-mouthed (Avent, Soothies, etc.) bottles of various sizes:
- For wide-mouthed 6 oz. bottles coming straight from the fridge, double the water mark (for example, if you're warming 4 oz. of formula, fill the water to the 8 line).
- For wide-mouthed 10 oz. bottles coming straight from the fridge, double the water plus two (for example, if you're warming 4 oz. of formula, fill the water to the 10 line).
- For wide-mouthed bottles that are just cool (not cold), fill to the regular line plus one (for example, if you're warming 4 oz. of formula, fill the water to the 5 line).

These rules consistently work for my husband and me, and we rarely end up with a too-cool or too-hot bottle. So, after a little testing and re-testing, we've ended up being really happy with this bottle warmer!

Great Concept, Not a Great product... 2007-07-17
I loved the concept, especially since our bedroom is upstairs. The thermos part works great for keeping bottles cold overnight, but the warming part is so inconsistent. I try to use the same amount of water each time. It really is hit or miss. Sometimes it is warm, but most of the time it is too cold. There has been a couple of times it is too hot. Very frustrating. I will be looking for another warmer.

Great for late night feedings 2007-04-17

Great with practice 2007-03-15
This is a great product. It takes a little practice to get the right amount of water. Disposables take much less b/c they tend to trap the steam, etc. I don't see how complaints about burning your hands could possibly be true. Sure it boils the water - it has to make steam! But why would you reach inside there? There is no reason I can think of why you'd ever need to do that. And with the first 2 children we used this on, I've never had a bottle even become remotely stuck, snug, you name it - not even close - so don't worry about it. I've used Avent 4oz and 9oz bottles as well as Playtex disposable bag bottles. It's not really a good use of money if you're just using formula - just make it with warm water. But if you're nursing your child and want dad to be able to help at night, this is a must have....

If I knew then what I know now! 2007-03-10
I bought this product for the arrival of my second child. I bottle fed my first child as well. This product is a timesaver/lifesaver! I only wish I had it 4 years ago with my first child. The key is to read the directions carefully before using this product. If you use more than the recommended measurement of water for the warmer you will scald the bottle and formula and it won't cool down easily either. As long as you read the instructions and follow them, this product is a wonder and joy to use. The cooler is especially nice because it cuts down on the nighttime feeding process, but you must take special care not to chill bottles longer than the recommended 8 hrs. You'll love the convenience and peace of mind! If I only knew then what I know now... :)

mixed review 2007-02-02
I agree that the water holder is a bit tedious to fill and measure acurately. I always follow the measuring instructions, but sometimes the bottle is too cool or too hot, even though I have been practicing to get it right. I wish it were more accurate and for someone like me, who only has a 3 room apartment, the cooling feature is not that useful.

Dangerous product. Waste of money!! 2007-01-17
I agree with all the other reviews saying the warmer with burn your hands and overheat the bottle. Especially when you only have a few oz in the bottle. The water in the warmer actually BOIL when it heats up and if the bottle got stuck in the handle, it means you have to use your bare hands to separate the boiled bottle and the boiled handle. You end up having a boiled hand as well. The worst part is it will burn your love one....

Not only that, the cooler does not close well so the content will not really be kept fresh even the ice-pack is frozen before placing into the cooler. We switched to AVENT warmer. A little more $$ but it is much better. I would NOT recommend this product.

My kids just love joining Dora on her exciting adventures and they get to learn a little Spanish along the way. They really respond the the interactivity of the videos especially when Swiper the Fox comes along - "Oh Man!"

She is great as a role model for girls and for learning Spanish .
