Editorial Review
The Canon Card Photo Printer CP-10 is a photographic printer that will definitely change the way people view digital photography, delivering high-quality credit card-sized photographs that look and feel like a traditional print. By directly connecting one of Canon's latest digital cameras to the compact printer it is now possible to produce high quality credit sized photographs in seconds. Printing is easy to do, simply load the credit-card sized media and connect the cable to the camera then switch on the camera and the print menu makes it simple to choose the prints the user desires. In less than 1 minute a perfect full color print is delivered, completely dry, ready to be passed around family or friends. Colors are rich and vibrant with the CP-10 using 300dpi dye sublimation printing providing pin sharp detail. The Canon Card Photo Printer CP-10 offers instant results. No more waiting for laboratory prints to be developed, no more expensive films and no more expensive reprint charges. The photograph is finished with a hardwearing scratch- and fade-resistant overcoat that protects it for years to come, ensuring the prints outlast the memories. The Canon Card Photo Printer CP-10 can also deliver the same incredible quality prints with a white border that look just like 'old-fashioned' photographs. For the ultimate in fun and sharing the CP-10 Card Photo Printer can even make sticker prints - eight mini stickers from one image. The printer builds up a full color, highly detailed image by merging three separate color layers: yellow, magenta and cyan, which are combined to give incredibly accurate quality and color depth to the finished print. The Canon Card Photo Printer CP-10 connects simply and quickly to any "Direct Print"-mode Canon digital camera including the Digital IXUS 300, the PowerShot A10, and the PowerShot A20.

Worth the Splurge! 2002-10-18
I thought this would be a total "splurge" of a printer. Well, it is; but, it's more than that, too. I'd rather create a photo from this printer than from any "big" machine. It's cool to watch this wee-printer produce the image you just took seconds before--the process fascinates, your photos turn out sharp and clean, and the pictures are sweet, petite, and oh-so-cute. You'll not only impress friends and loved-ones, but yourself to boot! Go ahead, splurge! You'll earn "Cool Points" if nothing else! (And you can order more paper/ink online, dude!)

A nice little printer that does all it is advertised 2002-03-21
The CP-10 is a great little printer that prints a outstanding quality wallet photo without a hitch. The difference between bordered and borderless prints is that borderless prints a somewhat zoomed version of what your image display window shows so you may experience "head chopping" unless you learn to frame your shots with a little more border around objects. You must be very careful when loading paper so as not to touch the printing surface or a finger print will show up in the finished product. I was surprised at how much detail can be had on a credit card sized photo and find this to be a nice alternative to printing larger more costly images when this size will produce a compact result that serves many purposes. Portability is the key here and I use this with a powershot S110 so in two pockets you have a complete photo system on the go. With optional 12 volt auto adapter you can have instant mobile prints. It does not interface with a PC so you must print direct from digicam making a larger capacity media card a good addition if shooting away from the printer.

A great printer! 2002-01-22
The Cannon CP-10 is a wonderful printer. The quality of the pictures is fantastic. It also does a great job when printing the mini stickers. The only down fall and the only reason I rated it a 4 and not a 5 is because it is not very easy to find a store that carries the paper/ink set for the printer. Other than that, if you are an instant gratification person this printer is for you.

WAY TOO COOL! 2002-01-21
I recently puchased the CP-10. Before I opened the box,I thought it looked cool, but after the easy hook up to my S110,and seeing my first print come to life, I can honestly say -it is way too cool! The tiny credit card size film paper is fed through one end and allows you to watch as your picture developes. Layer by layer, yellow, red, blue and green, this camera produces a top quality print. Best of all, its light weight and small enough to take anywhere. No more waiting to download your pics ! I havent purchased the tiny label paper yet, but thats next. If you own a compatible Canon camera and love gadgets, the CP-10 is for you !

Novelty 2003-01-09
Before purchasing this item, be sure you know what you're getting (I was unfortunately hasty). It's cute and tiny, to be sure, but so are its photos--the size of a credit card. And they're not cheap. The Canon CP-100 is slightly larger but for the extra "O" you're getting newer technology and a printer that offers photos of four different sizes.

Canon Abandons Its Customers 2002-12-31
I bought the larger Canon CD-300 printer less than a year ago for $400. Now, Canon says they will not create an XP driver for it. That is an extremely poor customer server. Anyone making PC-compatible hardware has to be prepared to support it for a reasonable period after they stop selling it. Canon promotes their printers as Microsoft Windows compatible, but the CD-300 doesn't run on the only version of Windows that Microsoft is selling! That is deceptive. I own a Canon digital SLR and digital SureShot. Because of this clear example of how little they care about their customers, they are the last Canon products I will purchase. Today, instead of buying photo paper for my defunct Canon CD-300, I bought the Sony DPP-SV77. It's a great little printer with a pop-up display for much less than the Canon... and Sony has great customer service!

A GREAT COMPACT PRINTER 2002-12-26
I HAVE THE CANON A-10 & A-20. THIS LITTLE PRINTER IS COMPATIBLE WITH BOTH CAMERAS & SOME MORE. I ALWAYS ASKED FOR WALLET PHOTOS YEARS AGO FROM KODAK. THEIR LITTLE (NOT AS MUCH SPACE AS BIG PRINTS), THEIR NOT AS GRAINY & YOU COULD FIT A LOT MORE IN THE ALBUM & ALSO PUT THEM IN YOUR WALLET. THIS PRINTER IS SO SHARP, YOU CAN SEE EVERY DETAIL AS IF IT WAS LIFE-LIKE. I LOVE IT & WOULD RECOMMENDED TO ANYONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Take care which camera you have!! 2002-12-05
I bought this Photo Printer in order to print photos from my Canon digital camera PowerShot S20. But unfortunately I cannot use it with this older Canon model. So now I am stuck with this Photo printer without ever having tried it.

Cannon Printer 2002-11-25
I thought of this printer as a gadget. Something I would use a few times and forget. That did not happen as I love this printer. Living overseas doesn't allow me the luxury of 1 hour photo but with this printer I don't have to worry about that. Far exceeded my expectations
