If it had the rack and pinion feature it'll be the perfect table saw!!!

No complains after first month of use.I'll pay another 100 dollars for it if it had (like the dewalt does) the rack and pinion fence mechanism.

Top notch benchtop table saw

I'm a amateur woodworker with a small two car garage for a workshop. Since my wife insists on parking her car in the garage at night, I don't have a lot of room left for woodworking. Therefore I chose a benchtop over the larger table saw that I really wanted. I've owned this tool for five years now, and it has performed flawlessly. I've run lots of wood through this machine and it always comes back for more. I've installed wood floors, built cabinets, and performed other odd jobs with this saw without failure. The only way this tool could ever disappoint anyone is if it were heavily abused. I also own a Bosch jig saw and Bosch router and found them to be absolutely top notch tools. I also own DeWalt, Jet, Delta, and other brand name tools with varying degrees of satisfaction. In comparison, I would recommend Bosch products without hesitation.

a very good saw

I own this saw. I have probably used every table saw out there. The only problem with this saw is that it is heavy and big compared with a lot of ohter saws. It has good features, side and back extensions. Nice fence. I like the ryobi too. It is lot cheaper,light has decent power but it is not built as good as this one, interms of physical product quality. Most table saws have decent power for ripping for rough framing. This one has a bigger table, which I can use for cabinetry and finish work. this was also rated the best in FWW.

Very nice portable saw

This has to be the best worksite saw I have ever used. It has sufficient power for just about any stock. The table extensions are very useful and the fence aligns itself square to the blade when locked. I purchased this saw after a long time pro recommended it to me and I haven't had a regret.

smoothest most accurate portable

This is the smoothest most accurate portable table saw I have ever used.

Its powerful, well built and very well thought out.
The fence is of excellent design with a positive square lock every time.
Blade changes are almost too easy and controls are simple and durable.
The only improvement I would make would be to add a blade height adjustment lock which it lacks, otherwise a flawless design by Bosch.

The fold up stand is sturdy and well designed,it snap locks up and folds down very effortlessly, folds almost flat and takes up less space then the gravity stand with the wheels.

Great saw

I bought this saw when I started remodeling my house a couple years ago and use it all the time. I absolutely love it. The only thing I have changed is I bought a really high quality blade to make cuts on hardwood flooring. If I had to do it again I would get the wheeled stand though.

This is a great saw with ease of use. It's a little more expensive than alot of jobsite table saws, but this one can come home with you and handle most tasks with ease.If your looking for a cabinet makers saw, this is probably not it, it is capable but you'll have to shell out alot more cash than this. Over all a great saw well beyond the competitors models.

Hasn't let me down

This saw is everything I need. The fence is super accurate. The blade is easy to change. The on board blade and tool holding compartment is a nice touch. I like this stand over the rolling one since it's often easier for me to carry the saw and stand separately and is more compact. It also has plenty of power and smooth operation.

Great Saw

Excellent saw. The fence is dead-on for a portable. The drawback for me is the stand. The saw is a pretty good weight, so the gravity rise stand would have been better for my old bones. This saw consistantly does well in product reviews, and I can see why. I am just not sure if I would pay over $500.00 for it though. I bought this saw for $319.00 w/free shipping. If you can get it on sale, it's a heck of a deal.

Great little workhorse

Should have bought the base w/ casters. This model is the envy of every contractor who has used it. "That'll be my next table saw" is what they say. The soft start is a nice feature as the lights don't dim when the motor is fired-up. Saw does not bog under heavy loads. Would prefer either a steel top or a higher quality aluminum rather than soft cast aluminum. Any metal shavings or nails left in boards easily gouge the surface.
