lift and hide toy box with shelf

i bought this toy box not knowing how i would feel about it having a shelf for my 21month old but after reading the reviews which i always do before i buy a product expecially for my children i ordered it. when it came it was fully assembled which was the best part and it holds so much stuff and the shelf is perfect for my daughters baby dolls and she can still reach them i wish i would highly recommed this toy box to anyone it is the best plastci toy box i have even bought. definatley 5 stars*****.

This is a toy box not a toy. It is nice to have in the room and safe for little fingers and hands. Holds a lot of "stuff" in the box with 2 shelves for books and special stuffed animals.

The best box i could have found, im sooooo happy with it! This is deep, so it fits tall items, the lid tucks up and in for safety and convience, the book shelf is deep and holds many books and keeps them there, and i love the extra space on top, i put two baskets of toys on top of it....my husband loves this to....it looks very nice, thank you step two, it could have only been a mom that thought of this one!

perfect toybox

We are really impressed with this toybox (as we have been with our other Step Two products)

It's very sturdy and stable with a nice broad base. There's no way for my daughter to pull it down on herself no matter how hard she tries. It cleans up easily.

Like others have said it's very safe-no sharp edges and a nice space between the lid and box so no pinched fingers. (you can't see the gap when it's closed)

Another nice thing about the toybox is that it's spacious enought that you can put quite a few toys in there and still have be able to get to stuff without having to take everything out.

REally an excellent toybox all around.

Should have gotten this sooner!

This is by far the best buy in toy boxes. Not only does it look great, but no assembly, no sharp edges, no peeling paint or decals make it a no brainer. I can't imagine buying one of those wooden toy boxes with the sharp corners. This holds a good amount of toys without getting so big that you lose the small ones in it. It's actually bigger inside than it looks. The book shelves are so clever!

Great toy box

I ordered this toy box for my grandchildren before Christmas. I wanted it for my kitchen so they could play while everyone else was around. It is strong and holds enough toys for them to have plenty to play with. The top stays up and out of the way yet can be put down when they go home. I also love the 2 shelves for books and stuffed animals. You can't go wrong with this toy box.

Great Spacious Toy Box for a Girl or Boy

I bought this for my 1 1/2 yr old son at the time. It holds a lot of stuff. It's better than the lift to open type toy boxes Little Tikes offers (Americana Sort 'n Store(tm) Toy Chest or the Organizer Toy Chest). Those hold a lot also, but my niece has one & the kids' grandparents have the other, we've found the lids are hard to open on those, where this one just slides up into the box under the shelves. On the shelves I have all my sons books on the bottom shelf and stuffed animals on the top. The only issue was when he was younger was trying to reach the top shelf. I just didn't put anything up there until he was able to reach the items. If your little one, like most, likes to hide, you don't have to worry about suffocation, like I read on a review for another toy chest, as this isn't completely sealed. The lid can be easily removed also if you don't want to use it. Many of my family & friends say my son's play room looks like they walked into toys'r us because he has so many toys. This holds quite a bit! The sides are not tall either like the other 2 chests listed above allowing smaller children to be able to reach into the chest to pull out those favorite toys! I would highly recommend spending a little more on this to get a nicer chest!

Very sturdy

Very well constructed. I don't worry about this product tipping over even though it is on carpet it sits level on the floor. The door slides down nice and easy and it don't come all the way down at the bottom, which prevents little fingers from being caught and injured. The inside compartment is very roomy and allows for a large number of toys. You may want to monitor and secure items placed on the top shelf to prevent items from falling over. This product is very easy to move from room to room, and less bulky than it looks. You can enjoy many years with this product, it is very durable.

easy to care for

This is so easy to clean and so durable. I have a 2 year old that loves to climb, and it even holds up to him climbing on it. It's the perfect toybox!

	Dora the Explorer Mr. Face Plush Backpack Review: My daughter is a big Dora fan and uses this backpack to carry around her favorite toys and books, which is why I gave it 5 stars for educational value. My friend's daughter has it as well, and love hers too. We've had it 6 months now and it's holding up just fine. The map opens up for an added bonus. My daughter likes to wear it and sing the backpack song from the show.
	Star Wars Episode III: Darth Vader Voice Changer Helmet Wow, do I ever wish they had this out when I was a kid! I bought it, and my wife, kids and I have all been playing with it. It has a chest box with several buttons that plays about 5 of Darth's quotes from the movies, or you can switch it to voice changer. The voice changer is fun! It has 3 different levels of depth for changing the voice. ... A must for Star Wars Geeks!!!!
