Even 0omfufu liked it! 2008-09-05
Do yourself a favor. Save your money and buy an egg mcmuffin burger at McDonald's.

The best part of this was the beginning segment where the fans are saying what their favorite Eddie Murphy's movie was. Everyone is saying, ''Trading Places'', ''Beverly Hills Cop'', ''48 Hours'', and at the end one guy goes, ''Believe it or not, l liked ''Best Defense''. l practically fell out of my seat laughing so much.

lf anyone tells you that they didn't like this, tell them to have a Coke and a smile and shut the f--- up!

Raw 2008-06-02
Raw is what this is. Eddie at his best. The early days were some of his best.

Eddie at his stand up best 2008-04-02
Eddie Murphy Raw is the second stand up film Eddie Murphy did and it's just as funny as his first. The topics froms gays, sex, Wacko Jacko and Mr. T are all very very funny. Some of the film's best moments are when Eddie does impressions. If you've never seen this film you're in for a treat.

Good stuff 2008-04-01
Brought back memories. Not as funny as delirious, but good none the less. It's worth the price if only for sentimental viewing. It's just weird seeing Eddie Murphy so young and RAW. :-)

Classic 2008-02-08
You can watch it over and over and laugh like it's the first time you saw it.

Come back to the stage, Eddie, please... 2008-01-28

Rated R for Raw- Highly Amusing 2007-12-23
As in Delirious Eddie once again pushes the boundaries.
Hilarious, Eddie's no holds bar style comedy will leave you clenching your chest on the living room floor.
Highly recommended for people who like a good laugh, and aren't afraid of a little "adult language". Best to watch with a group of friends, preferably married.
Enjoy!

Eddie Murphy is still a very funny fellow-RIGHT! 2007-12-09
By 1987,when this concert was taped, many of Eddie Murphy's fanbase were tickled by DELIRIOUS and also loved him in other Paramount properties like 48 HRS. and TRADING PLACES. Again,Murphy impersonates more popular entertainers, this time those being the late great Richard Pryor and Bill Cosby. My favorite part of this show was the Pryor/Cosby impersonations. Murphy claims, although they never met face-to-face,that Cosby chastised him on the phone for his highly profane comedy. Murphy has been a longtime fan of Cosby's and of course always watched Cosby's (in '87)#1 NBC sitcom THE COSBY SHOW. Pryor influenced Murphy and in fact Pryor himself followed in Cosby's footsteps in the sixties. Pryor and Murphy would later star together in another Paramount property,HARLEM NIGHTS. Between DELIRIOUS and this show,Murphy did more popular films like BEVERLY HILLS COP 1 and 2(also Paramount properties),THE GOLDEN CHILD(another Paramount property), and BEST DEFENSE with the late Dudley Moore(another Paramount property, wow!). I also loved Murphy's impersonations of non-celebrity foreigners("I see you on tellehvesion, you're the 'f--k yuh' mon, right?"). The Engelwood,New Jersey native's film career continues today, mostly in non-profane,family-oriented films. So Murphy isn't so "RAW" anymore.

A Big Disappointment 2007-09-06
Taped it off of cable but wouldn't pay maoney for it. The problem is that this is where Eddie is now a star and thinks or seems to think that everything that comes out of him is funny. "Delirious" was new and fresh and Eddie cames off as suprisngly likeable and cocky and talking about things that are genuinely funny anyway like relatives and family outings, Elvis, etc. whereas this just sounds like Eddie yanking his own chain, trying to convince himself or someone that he's "made it" to the star ranks with Michael Jackson and Mr T and instead of 18 year olds getting their first experience we hear about Hollywood lifestyles and so forth. This is less funny and basically Eddie should follow his own advice and squeeze some jokes in inbetween the cursing.

Eddie had two great live stand up DVD this one and Delirius. Both a must see if you like Eddie and/or great stand up.
