Fantastic series; you get a grip on who these three guys really are. Alan and Jake are my favourites; they seem so real, you feel like you know what they're going through. Very funny with trying to hard to be funny. I definately have to get Season 2 & 3. Highly recommended.

you wouldnt think that charlie sheen could pull off this comedy. so it has to be writers. although the writers are satanic and enemies of god, the satire is still extremely funny. topics of Sex and divorce are the main themes.

love to laugh

Want to laugh? buy this dvd set. A guranteed good time over and over. Despite buying this set months ago, we watch it whenever there is nothing funny on tv. Pop up some pocorn and enjoy. NB. some of the humor is inappropriate for the younger set...but most of that goes over their heads.

This has got to be the best comedy on TV. It is the only one that my boyfriend and I actually laugh at. We love it.

If you have a funny bone at all, this will definitely tickle it. There is no way not laugh....
Charlie and Alan play off each other so well, it's like a real brother relationship!

Charles Francis "Charlie" Harper (Charlie Sheen) and Jacob David "Jake" Harper (Angus T. Jones), the kid, are the two men and Alan Jerome Harper (Jon Cryer) is the half man.

Perfect Comedy Series

This is the perfect comedy series, so far. It is well written and truly funny on several levels. Sheen's comedy delivery is perfect, so the Charlie character is fun to watch. Cryer has a knack for making the audience enjoy and appreciate his character's failures and injuries. The kid character, Jake, marks the first time I can recall in which one feels no sympathy for a child that is not cute, that is plagued by hereditary stupidity, and who will always be a burden on society. Instead, he is funny.

I hope the writers will be able to come up with new material and avoid the failure that eventually kills a lot of comedy shows-the eventual replacement of original humor with too much crudity.
