Big chips lead to big frowns

The guitar sounded find but they made almost no atempt to fix big paint chips in the finish. BIG DISAPPOINTMENT! This was a restored guitar? I think they forgot to restore this one!

this guitar is pretty good.it kinda stinks becase the string broke a month after i got it.also,the amp broke a few days after i got the guitar.but,amazon was good and sent me a new one quickly.i'm sounding kind of negative but over all this guitar rocks!i even started a band.i am in love with this guitar.it is awesome!

This is a very nice guitar.It is good for kids who are switching from acustic to electric like I am.It is also pretty good if you are beginning because it comes whith a book of songs but it is not that good so you rather just get a teacher.It is very fun to play on and has good sound for someone who dosent perform in a band or something.If you do then I reccomend you get a little more expensive guitar.The only negative is that the anp broke one week after I got it.But amazon was good and sent me a new amp for free very fast.Overall its a great guitar.I highly reccomend it.

if your wanting a guitar to start with, GO FOR IT, but if you are advanced get something better with a BIGGER AMP, because the one it comes with is a little small, although your talking to a guy that likes his stuff SUPER LOAD, and also Yamaha makes GREAT gutiars so i would go with them,
A nice guitar 2005-07-02
I saw this package at costco also, and I had to choose between the squier and this guitar. I'm glad I got this one because from what I've read the pickups are better, and the guitar is better overall. It comes with a small amp, which works perfect for me, because i'm not trying to get a big loud sound. I just want to be able to hear what I'm playing. And when you turn it up load you get some crackling, so it's perfect for mid volume playing. Of course I cant afford a jazzmaster which I would like, so this is great for the price.

Nice setup for the price. Teenage son learning to play and loves it. I love the fact that it can be played softly too!

This is the same package that I used for my first guitar, and it's pretty reliable, with a good pedal and an amp it can actually perform very well. Beware however, that you don't leave the guitar sitting (on a chair or something) with the cord still in! I just had the plate around the jack crack. Nothing serious, but a big annoyance.
Overall a very good product.
GREAT BEGINNER GUITAR 2007-02-10
This we bought for our oldest son 3 years ago. It really has a nice sound to it and the combination of the amp and guitar for the price is perfect!! It has really held up from daily playing.
Pretty good 2006-05-03
I got this guitar for Christmas in 2003. I have played with it virtually nonstop (with a break for like half a year when my teacher died) and now I am back. I know a lot of songs. The guitar is great, and sounds great, for begginer. Unfortunately my tremolo bar messed up the inside so I can't use it anymore, but I don't mind too much. Plus the amp sucks, especially when using pedals or playing live. It's all right for home practice though. If this is your first guitar, go for it! If not, look into something more advanced.

This guitar is a great guitar I still use it. It has a very good sound and looks really cool. I love this guitar and have never thought about getting a knew electric guitar. It also comes with a small but very loud and great sounding amp. I would suggest you buy a tuner because it goes out of tune every once in a while. But other than that it is a very good guitar.
