Great Product for a great value. I purchased it for $25 after mail in rebate. However, it is too big for me. Very well constructaed and durable. I have used it on about 5 business trips so far, and I am not going to take it any more. It is too heavy for me to lug on a plane with my carryon luggage. I think that I am going to switch to a backpack. But I think it will be better for men to carry.

Excellent notebook case. Targus makes some of the best laptop cases. The CBT400 is durable and gives excellent protection for your laptop. Definitely recommend it.

Great...but the photos are wrong. 2006-01-05
This is a good bag. It is extremely well made with good padding. However the photos provided by the customer(s) are wrong. The photos above, show this bag to open up with zippers. this is INCORRECT. this is a top loading carrying case. The laptop is stored in a large pocket that is open at the top. I was disappointed becuase I saw the customer provided photos and I thought that was what I had ordered. Live n' learn from my mistake. Don't be fooled by the customer's photos.
Excellent Product--One problem 2005-09-21
I recently purchsed this for my Dell Inspiron 6000 laptop and it fits easily with room to spare. This case is affordable, lightweight, and has plenty of storage for accesories (however I would not recommend it as a replacement for a bookbag). Overall this is one of the best cases for notebooks with a 15.4 inch widescreen display. The only problem I see with the product is the strap is always twisted because the strap doesn't spin where it is connected to the bag itself and it takes extra time to untwist the strap. It doesn't bother me too much but if it bothers you, I would look for a messenger case with a detachable strap.
Version 3 has a side pack for your cell phone 2005-08-05
My 15" Dell 600m fits inside the Messenger version 3 case perfectly. The case currently pictured on the Amazon web page omits the version 3 Messenger side pack for a cell phone. I bought my Messenger case at a big box computer retail store and naturally paid retail for immediate delivery. The exact same case is available locally at another BB store for retail plus a couple of extra dollars. I first checked out laptop cases offered at my Wally World super store. They were cheaper but were sized for 17" laptops. I wanted a case where that I could drop the laptop into the top with a nice snug fix. This Messenger case works for me. The case has a ribbed thick non skid rubber side and bottom. One of the little things I like about this case is that after you drop your laptop into the top you can secure the laptop with a velcro strap to keep it from accidentally sliding out. My first laptop bit the dust because it fell out of a case that wasn't designed for laptops.
Durable with lots of storage space 2005-07-28
Has good construction and is light. Plus, it securely holds and protects the laptop and has lots of storage space for items such as iPod, all the wires for the notebook, pens, notepad . . . .
