When using your TV or computer, there's nothing more frustrating than encountering poor reception. Now there's a fast and effortless way to make your signal strength up to 32 times more powerful! The Motorola Signal Booster enhances analog and digital picture quality, improves cable modem communication, and reduces lost data. It's easy to install and tools are not required. This device also allows you to optimize multiple broadband devices in your home - televisions, cable set-top boxes, cable modems, VCRs, and digital radios - all from one convenient cable. Clearly, the Motorola Signal Booster is a strong alternative to weak signal quality.

worked like a charm 2008-07-19
With Vista ultimate I connected the cable to a 2 way splitter to the modem and to the media card. The modem signal began to be troublesome. I attached the booster at the house entry as directed and it did the trick. I have three TVs, cable phone, and the computer and all worked well. I now enjoy tv at the computer.

Saved My Living Room 2008-07-15
I bought a new home and have cable in every room. All the signals were fine except in the main living area. The reception was terrible, snowy, with lots of image lag and broken audio (annoying to the point of unwatchable). The cable company came out twice and the builder looked at things. I tried changing cables, HDMI cables, cable converter box. Nothing worked. Cable company said cable inside the wall (behind sheetrock and solid wood) probably had nail or staple in it somewhere along course from "smart box". Builder hemmed and hawed. The destruction and hassle of tearing out the wall, etc seemed like a bad option. I found this on Amazon and hooked it up between wall cable and converter box.

WOW! My probelem was solved. The regular analog as well as the HD channels all come in crystal clear now with great audio! The cable TV picture quality on my 1080p rivals that of a DVD. Got best audio result with HDMI from converter box out to TV.

This product saved me a lot of construction hassles and has brought HD TV back into my family room. Best money I've ever spent on an ancillary electronic device. I was hesitant at first b/c some reviews said the booster just amplified noisy bad signals and didn't improve them. It cleared up my poor signal problem brilliantly.

This product works!!!

Great Buy 2008-07-14
This product was exactly what I needed for my new house. I have COMCAST digi cable, phone and internet and a couple of my TVs in my basement were fuzzy. After I purchased this, all the signals in my house are clear (2 are HD, one regular cable and one internet). I highly recommend this to use if you were having problems like I was. It cleans up all the signals nicely.

This was the solution 2008-07-11
The internet came though on this one for me because of Amazon and these reviews. I bought one and put it on the cable where it entered the house as some of the reviewers suggested. Instant solution. The cable company box now gets every channel, the channels are crystal clear, and the box switches channels very fast. My only thought is that it should have been included by the cable company with the cable box. It was the solution. 100 percent successful.

It doesn't work -- Period. 2008-06-24
I tried this on my Comcast cable system. I even bought the Monster 2GHZ splitters, which in fact DO work well, but this so-called "booster" just boosts electrical noise on all 3 of my TVs. It's funny -- Comcast says I "must" have one of these on my system ( one of THEIRS, I suppose ), but after 3 tries with it I just gave up. My pictures are clearer without it and it doesn't even make a good doorstop.

Apartment Building Antenna Boost 2008-07-23
I live in an 18 unit building with an shared antenna; the reception has always been of borderline quality. After getting a television capable of receiving digital broadcast, I had decided I'd have to get cable, as I was unable to receive many of the digital stations.
This signal booster has eliminated the need for cable - pulls in every station available in my area(both Los Angeles and Orange counties), all sharp and clear. This far exceeded my expectations.

It worked! 2008-07-23
I bought this to connect my broadband internet and 2 HDTVs and I am amazed! A++++ (wait this isnt ebay) oh well A++++++. I also bought the Ultralink PLATINUM Series Videophile Pro-3 2GHz 3-Way Signal Splitter and they both work great in unison. I would recommend this to anyone experiencing signal problems.
Thanks Amazon.com if we were in jail together I'd protect you in the shower :)

Works As Advertised 2008-07-22
I bought the Motorola 484095-001-00 Signal Booster to boost the signal to the TV, 110 feet from the antenna splitter. Without the booster, the digital over-the-air signals were so bad that they either were a blue screen or were flickering with pixel loss. I got the Motorola 484095-001-00 Signal Booster and found it very easy to install, only minutes, and the signals were boosted so that all the channels came in clear. This product works as advertised and I highly recommend it.

Insignificant signal improvement 2008-07-21
The Motorola Signal Booster was a major disappointment. The main reason I bought this product is because I wanted to have a much better cable signal for our two TV sets. However, as I found out the hard way, this product does not boost the signal at all. I've tried the recommendations/instructions of several reviewers but just the same, it does not work as advertised. The only configuration that showed very little improvement was when I connected the Motorola booster in one of the outputs of my AR 2.5GHz 2-way video splitter. If I connect it before the splitter, it just mess up the signal. This is one product I regret buying. It's a total waste of money.

THE solution to Comcast problems! 2008-07-20
I have Comcast Digital Cable in two rooms. The farthest room was not getting all the HD channels. I would get the "One Moment Please" prompt on the television. Comcast had told me that the message is due to a weak signal and would have to send a technician out to look at the problem. She instructed me that in most cases, I would have to purchase a signal booster from Comcast. After reading all the reviews online, I decided to purchase this booster and skip the hassle of having a technician come to the house. This was THE solution. I now get all HD channels in the previously troubled room and ON Demand now works without any pixel freezes. I'm 100% satisfied with this purchase. I actually installed the booster to the cable box I was having issues with and it worked like a charm without any problems to the other cable box.
