Good product, useless sling 2008-07-11
This tub is great. My twin girls seem to be very comfortable in it (one at a time :) ). I'd only mention one thing that may improve the tub - some additional soft padding material on the edges where the babies hit their head sometimes when they sway from side to side.

I found the swing to be useless, because it's only used in the beginning when you can't submerge the baby in the water. Meaning, the baby sits in this sling that gets wet and then cold while suspended in the air.

Overall, this tub works as expected and I have no complaints about it. Good product!

Love this tub! 2008-07-03
My son is 8 weeks old, and my husband and I have used this tub to bathe him since day 1. So far, we have no complaints - we love it! The hammock works great for infants - my baby is comfortable and secure in it. I can bathe him and wash his hair easily. The temperature plug in the bottom of the tub is great for new parents who don't know how warm to make the bath water. And the compartment to hold accessories is very useful. This item is a staple in my home, and I'd highly recommend it.

It's good for a newborn 2008-06-26
The sling works great for a newborn. My baby was over 9 lbs. and very strong. He tried to throw himself out, but couldn't (of course I had my hand on him the whole time). Once his cord fell off, I tried to lower the sling into the water, but I think you'd have to almost fill the tub with water to get them down into the water at all. So, I just took the sling off and put him in the newborn end and it worked very well.

My only complaints are that the plug really doesn't change colors to warn you of hot water and that there is no padding or foam in the place their little rear ends sit. I was worried he's slip, so I just put a washcloth on it and he stays perfectly in place!

Cute but not perfect 2008-06-03
I wanted a tub that would grow with my baby so I put this on my registry because it has three stages from newborn, to infant that can sit up, to toddler. My baby is still only two months old, so I can only speak on the first stage. My baby keeps slipping down in the mesh seat so that the back of her head goes into the water if I'm not holding her up with one hand. If she turns her head water will go into her ears or mouth. To end on a positive note, I like how the tub fits into my kitchen sink and the plug will turn white if the water is too hot.

OK bath tub 2002-10-08
I thought this would be the perfect bathtub for my infant son. Well, it is okay, but definitely not perfect. However, I am not sure there is a perfect one out there. This tub does have a lot of nice features. It has 2 built-in positions, one that is reclined for infants, and one that is upright for older babies and toddlers. It also comes with a sling that can be used for sponge bathing newborns, however I never used it. It fits in any size sink (single or double). The drain turns white when the water is too hot. My biggest problem with the tub is that my 3-month-old son hates to sit in the reclined section, but can't sit up well enough on his own to be in the upright section. I can't give him a bath by myself b/c I need my husband to hold my son up for me while I wash him. If you have a baby that is content to be reclined than you will probably really like this tub.

Great value 2002-10-03
We bought this tub before our son was born because we liked the fact that we could use it as a newborn tub as well as an older baby tub. Our son was born a very small (but healthy) preemie who got to come home after a short stay in the hospital. The day his cord fell off, we decided to give him his first bath. He, of course, hated it, but the tub was perfect, even for his tiny little under 5 lb body. He's now 10 weeks old and LOVES his bath, and the tub has been great. He splashes me happily and kicks his little feet with no problems. He's a surprisingly long baby (for being so small at birth) and we've had no problems with the tub being too short. I like the non slip padding, the fact that it is light weight and easily portable. I also like the angle of the newborn side, because I flip him over and he props on the pad while I wash his back and cute little tush. He loves to flip over and bends his legs the instant they hit the water again and chews on the back of the tub while I wash him. I would highly recommend this to any new parent.

perfect! 2002-10-02
I wasn't sure when I was looking at tubs, but I'm glad I got this one. I used the sling for the first 2 weeks to sponge bath my 5 pound preemie, and despite his size, I felt that he was very secure, he stayed put. For those a little nervous about bathing a baby at first, (like my hubby) the sling is adjustable, so you can loosen it add a little more water, and use it for a regular bath. The drain plug warns if the water is too hot, which again is good for the nervous new parent. Now 2 months old, I use the infant, slanted seat side, and it works well for us. the padding reduces slipping. I also like the space to hold clean rinse water or bath supplies. The only thing they may want to add is a hook to hang this to dry, which some have. Otherwise, it's perfect and cheap. Some may be attracted to a few tubs that are bigger, but I think the size is perfect. It's roomy enough but not so big that the baby can "escape", or to mane the baby feel insecure. It's also easier to store than those monster tubs, too.

We Hate This Tub 2002-10-02
Everytime I give my son a bath the rough sides of this tub rub the skin off of his little toes causing them to bleed terribly bad. And since you cant keep a baby from kicking his feet I would suggest a different tub.

PERFECT!!!!!!! 2002-10-01
This is the perfect size for my kitchen sink. The newborn sling is fully adjustable and the infant/toddler sides make it useful for several months! I looked at several other infant bath tubs and this is the only one that looked like it was useful.

My kids just love joining Dora on her exciting adventures and they get to learn a little Spanish along the way. They really respond the the interactivity of the videos especially when Swiper the Fox comes along - "Oh Man!"

She is great as a role model for girls and for learning Spanish .
