The My Calendar Kit features twelve months, each in a large 11" x 17" wall format. It comes with all the regular U.S holidays and a durable wire spine. Choose whether or not to include include extra months (up to 24 ) and your own special days, like birthdays, anniversaries and vacations. Calendars also come in an oversized 14" x 22" version. Any photo you send in is sized to fit and will be returned. The special laminated format comes with a dry erase marker that allows you to use your calendar over and over again. Gift for my Sister

I ordered this kit for my sis for Xmas with the knowledge that she is very into artsy-craftsy sorts of things. I figured that it would be a great time for she and I to spend some time together, figuring out what we wanted to draw for each of the twelve months as well as what special dates needed to be put on the calendar. Seems like it might be a great gift for any child interested in art - nothing like seeing your drawings, paintings, and photos meshed into a functional calendar that you get to use all year... And, like I said, a great way to spend some time with a family member, while you're putting together ideas and sketching out pictures to send in!

I loved it so did my son he is almost 6 years old. We were very happy to make a special calendar to give his Nana for X-mas.
But there are 2 things I wasn't very happy about it that are actually related.
When I ordered I thought that the calendar was inside the box all ready to use and all you have to do was draw or glue some pic or stickers at the top part of it. But NO with the kit it only comes with the papers for you draw or whatever and you want then you have to mail the papers to them or upload to their site to get the calendar made for you.
That's my second problem with this kit even tough the envelope to return the pictures to them it has a free stamp on it they'll charge you $2.95 for S/H (more if extra calendars are ordered). Also it takes 3 weeks from when they receive plus 3 to 10 days for the delivery time. Of course the Rush delivery is available for a $12.95 still will take 3 weeks for them to get ready maybe even more time during X-mas time or the end of school year. So if you want this calendar for this X-mas or any special date that you need fast forget it.
The good thing is you can order extra calendars with the same order for only $14.99 each( instead of $19.99)also have cool options like laminate,Print speacial notes at special dates, extra months, make it bigger etc...( all that at extra charge including printing special dates/each).
Overall I think is a great item great to give as a gift or to make as a gift we have fun together and will give his Nana a special gift this X-mas (even it might get there late. Hope that helped

I love this kit. We got it so we could make a gift to give to all the relatives (even though you can start your calendar with any month, we're giving it as hoiday gifts). My kids drew pictures, we added photos, stickers, poems. We included everyone's birthday, anniversary etc. My one son even wanted his report card added to one month! It's not like some of those other calendars you get where you just slip a picture in a folder. This is a real printed up calendar that's bound together. The quality was excellent. We'll do this again.

I do a lot of buisness through Amazon and this is the first time I've ever been ripped off.
This so called kit comes with 30 or so sheets of plain white paper and 8 markers,for $22 dollars with shipping.
Next time I'll read everything and not trust the pics.In this case,what you see is a far cry from what you get.
Amazon really needs to pull this item or price it for what it's worth.

I love this kit! We got it so we could make a Christmas gift for the grandparents. You can start it with any month! It was a fun project for us to do together -- figuring out what we wanted to draw for each of the months as well as what special dates needed to be added to the calendar. My kids drew pictures, we added photos and stickers and added everyone's birthday and anniversary! My one son even wanted to include his report card and little league schedule. It's not like some of those other calendars you get where you just slip a picture in a folder. This is a real, printed calendar that's bound together. The quality is excellent and we will definitely do this again :)

For Christmas we decided to takes pictures of my 18 month old son and have them turned into a calander. We looked all over to find the best product that was reasonably priced.
We did our calander on the manufacture's website. This was nice, but had some things that could be improved. To be able to add a background would be nice. Like clouds or something. They didn't over anything like that.
The binding was nice and the paper was of good quality.
The calander pages themselves are very nice. The colors were bright and easy to read.
We used some professional pictures that were on a CD, scanned a few pictures, and used a few I had taken on my digital camera. Overall clarity was excellent. Color quality was 4 out of 5 stars. Some of the colors were not bright or a little off. The biggest downfall seemed to be with the highest quality pictures. Whenever they were printed you could see lines on the pages. Like someone ran a brush over them before they were completely dry. You couldn't see the lines on all the pictures, just the really high quality ones with dark colors (navy blue and black), and it was only when the light shined directly on the page. Hanging up, not bad at all, but when you really look at it, like people do at Christmas time, you can see them.
Overall we were satisfied, but I think I would try someone else next time.

I bought this as a gift for my neice. When she opened it (cellophane wrapper on), there was nothing but markers inside! I now have to find my invoice and try to send it back!! VERY DISSAPOINTED WITH THIS VENDOR!!!!!
Great for young artists 2006-10-28
The kids (ages 5 and 7) had a ball drawing pictures for each month and the reproduction was really fabulous. Plus, I'm thrilled to have something creative and useful to give all the relatives for the holidays coming up. The only problem was that one item (a puzzle we ordered as an extra) was lost and no one could find the original artwork to redo it. But the customer service people were great and ended up sending us a complementary calendar kit as an apology.
