Excellent Optics- worth the money 2006-11-09
I purchased these to replace a pair just like them that I disassembled the eye piece to remove a leaf, while high in a tree, where I dropped the diopter adjusting eyepiece, never to be found.

The original pair was used for hunting and they took a moderate amount of wear and abuse for 10 years. Never had a problem with them for those 10 years, until the "incident". The optics on my original pair were super clear from edge to edge, gathered massive light, the focusing mechanism was always good and tight, as was the eye width adjustment. They saw rain and snow, dirt and dust, and with reasonable care, were the best field glasses I had owned.

These new glasses are super clear, light weight, and tight, just like the old pair. They are very light weight and just an awesome choice for field glasses when you do a lot of walking and hiking. You can spend more money, but I don't know why anyone would. You can spend less money too, but these are well worth the $96 with shipping I paid for them. Purchased through adorama camera in July 2006.

Great for size and weight 2006-10-28
I'm very happy with my purchase of these binoculars. For their size and weight they are terrific for hiking. They have a good field of vision and incredibly clear optics. They cost a bit more than similar binoculars but in my opinion they are worth it.

Lightweight Champion 2006-06-29
Purchased for a trip to St.Louis. Could clearly see players in the dugout from upper deck. Carrying pouch is lightweight and easily sits on your belt. The perfect traveler for me.

Just what I needed for birding 2006-06-03
This is the binocular for me. I've spent much time researching. And knowing nothing about binoculars, it wasn't an easy job. I didn't know a roof lens from a any other lens. But I did my homework and liked everything this one offered. I have macular degeneration and had some reservations. I can see my feathered friends really good now.

Sincerely,
Janet

Good mini-binoc's, small FOV 2005-07-06
Very good binoculars, very pleased. I knew going in that as power increases, the ability to hold the binoculars steady becomes increasingly difficult. These aren't bad. Field of view is narrow, that's only complaint and with the otherwise product quality, it's minor.

Best binoculars!! 2008-05-22
I use these binoculars mostly for baseball games and they are awesome!! Very clear and very steady. I would recommend these to anyone looking for lightweight, compact but powerful binoculars.

It was a gift 2008-01-12
The person who received the gift loved them. went out to watch eagles in the Utah desert and said they worked great.

Lilghtweight binoculars 2007-12-25
Gave as Christmas gift. Recipient thinks binoculars will be excellent for observing wildlife when on vacations. Trust the Nikon reputation.

Wonderful pair of binoculars 2006-11-12
Great optics, very light and well worth the investment.
I had an older model for over ten years until I replaced it with this pair. I had been looking for another pair for over six months until I came back to this pair.

ok set of binocs 2006-11-10
I was looking for a pair of travel binoculars to replace a pair of stolen vivitar. Though these glasses have superior optics they are not as easy to carry as the vivitars. For women who would like a pair to keep in their purse, I would suggest something smaller. These are great though for stadium/concert glasses and can easily be worn on a belt. Nikon does know something about optics.

Review: "This Camera is one of the best in its price range. It takes beautiful clear pictures and can be used right out of the box, but its worth learning all its features. The included memory holds about 20-25 pictures so I upgraded to 128mb. I reccomend getting a 128mb card and the Sony camera case. Not only is this one of the best cameras in its class it includes decent software and rechargeable batteries that are at least a 20$ value.
HIGHLY reccomend over canon, kodak, and fuji. One more thing this camera has CARL Zeiss lens (if you dont know, great lens) all the competetors have generic lens."

The fact is a camera’s megapixel rating is only a measure of how many pixels (photosensitive sites) an image sensor has…. An image sensor is simply one component of an entire system that produces a digital photograph… So resist buying into the megapixel hype when you’re choosing a digital camera. From Chapter 1
