I enjoyed playing this game. I believe it to be fun. Like one on one shooting it out. Not your everyday type of game.

Very good graphics for an older program, storyline is well written for an older game. good for us older gameplayers

Played this game in dos days and it was a super game. When I saw win ver, I had to have it. Program not as good in windows as it was in dos.
A classic, and one of the best RPG shooters of the early 90s 2004-10-11
This game is beyond the best that PC had to offer. It is mostly made of video features and the way the game is played is still something that has never been done. Back in 1993, this game was the biggest thing out there, and now, beyond it's prime, it still proves to be a classic.
If you are a western fan, or a fan of classic PC games, you should definitely start your colection with Mad Dog Mcree and Mad Dog Mcree 2.

Great Game! 2003-07-12
Mad Dog McCree was a great game. I remember being young and playing it on an old computer with a friend, and boy this has brought back so many memories! It's a great game, though isn't as fast as the modern day game, yet great for nostalgia reasons!
I'd suggest this game to anyone interested in gun-games, who isn't afraid of the olden days with old technology! Rock on, 80s!

That lowdown dirty sidewinder Mad Dog McCree and his band of cutthroats have ridden into town, kidnapped the Mayor and his daughter, and taken them to his hideout. These hombres are mean and vicious. What this town needs is a gunslinger to spray a little lead in harm's way.
Using your controller to aim and fire, you'll have to make your way through town, rescue the sheriff who has been locked in jail and then make your way to Mad Dog's hideout. But only the best shooters will meet Mad Dog McCree in the final showdown - just be sure your Colt .44 six-shooter is loaded!
