Fast & easy coffee maker for the person on the go.

I have had this coffee maker for about 2 months now and have been pleasantly surprised. I wouldn't say it's the best coffee maker out there, but it makes a good cup(or two) of coffee in about 1-2 minutes and even shuts off automatically. You can't beat that if your in a hurry and clean up is a breeze (just toss the filter and go)!
I've tried a Senseo and a Keurig and this model beats them hands down! It is MUCH easier to clean and maintain, plus you can use your favorite coffee, rather than the low quality coffee pod makers make you choose from, which means better taste and more $$ left in your wallet.
I don't use it w/ 2 mugs often, but I've never had the problems others have mentioned about it filling unevenly. The spout is probably just clogged and needs to be rinsed out. The only negatives I can think of is that it does tend to splatter a bit if you use a smaller mug, due to the distance between your cup and the spout(Not a big deal), and my mugs don't tend to keep the coffee hot very long.
Still, if you are always in a hurry like I am in the mornings, then this is an INFINITELY BETTER ALTERNATIVE TO A POD COFFEE MAKER and about a fraction of the price!
Perfect Size and Price

Wonderful little coffeemaker, at the right price. My $40 thermal carafe maker was too tall to fit under counters in my small-ish kitchen. Since it's just me and my pets, I didn't really need a carafe anyway. Now I drip into one coffee mug and one thermal mug, drink one and keep the rest for later. Unit has a simple yet clever removable drip tray, for the occasional overflows or missed drips. (My old unit didn't have that and was constantly leaking onto the counter.)
PS I am a firm believer in carafes vs. warming plates. Coffee on a warming plate tastes awful after 15 minutes, in my opinion.
A decent coffee maker

I "inherited" my Melitta Take 2 coffee maker from a co-worker who left recently, and I cannot comment on the quality of the mugs that come with the machine because she took the mugs with her.
However, I bought a nice 16 ounce, stainless steel travel mug and have had no problems using that with the coffee maker instead of the original mugs.
I use the machine to make one cup of coffee at a time; I never need 2 cups at once. For just one cup, it does a great job. It's fast, the coffee tastes fine, and the coffee comes out very hot.
The one drawback I've noticed is that it keeps drip-drip-dripping for about 5 minutes after it's finished brewing, so I just stick an old ceramic coffee mug underneath to catch the drips after I pick up the travel mug.
Oh, and by the way - I did what some other reviewers recommending for single-cup brewing, and popped off the silver distributor nozzle. It looks better without it and there's less splashing that way.
Worked for 1 and a half months

It was nice while it lasted. My unit stopped working after 1 and a half months. When the button is pressed steam just comes out of the front and back and no coffee brews. oh well I guess you get what you pay for (25$).
Great Gift.

This turned out to be a great gift and the recipient loved it. I did however notice uneven distribution of coffee in the cups. Nevertheless, for the price the mugs are decent quality and the machine seems sturdy. No problems yet.

I absolutoly love this product. It is quick and easy and makes a great cup of coffee. It is ready to go in the travel mug. This is my second one, my husband broke the first one and I had to replace it.
Really good little coffee pot

I love this. I have never had a single problem with it. I find it easy to use, easy to clean and it makes a very good cup of coffee. I make only one cup about 95% of the time...the few times I've made two cups, I haven't experienced the problems that others have mentioned, it filled both cups evenly. I did actually buy a reusable filter for mine. It took less than 10 minutes and a utility knife and a pair of scissors to trim the top down and cut a notch for the water tubing, but now it works great and no paper filters deal with which makes it an even better pot. The mugs are probably the worst part of the unit, they don't fit the cup holders in my car and they don't have the best lids...but I already have travel mugs, so I just use these to brew and pour it into a better travel mug.

This is a great little coffee maker that makes two mugs of hot coffee! If you use it everyday,it will last from one to two years before needing replaced. I have purchased three of them over the years but the price is so cheap its worth it!!
Love it

I just love this coffee maker. It is so convenient and the coffee comes out great. I always brew one cup at a time and it works perfectly for that. This is the second one I have owned. The last one got so much use that the little "brew" button stopped working. I just think this was a great invention.
Could be better...

I have had this coffee maker for a few months now. The only complaint I had in the beginning was that there wasn't a permenant filter (you have to use #2 filters). I used to only make one cup at a time and it worked great. Now that I started making 2 cups at a time I can see the problem. One of the cups ALWAYS overflows and the other is half empty. Now I have to stand there and watch it brew so I can remove the cup that fills up faster before it overflows. If you plan on only brewing one cup at a time I would reccomend this, otherwise, keep looking...
