Just to begin by saying that AMAZON rocks !!! i can't believe i received my product 5 days before the scheduled delivery. This cat 5 cable is just what I need to connect my son's computer to my dsl hub in the tv room. Belkin is a very high tech brand with great warranty backup aside from Amazon's great service quality. I feel like purchasing everything from Amazon. You cannot ask for a great product and excellent service with no tax and free shipping, not to mention very low pricing. This exact same cord at Microcenter is $49.99. I purchased here at Amazon for $22.00 with no tax and added a coupler for $6.00 that transpired to free shipping. Great Job AMAZON !!!
Quality and Service 2008-02-15
I received the cable and upon inspection found this to be of equal or better quaility than the cable sold at the electronics chain stores, and of course at a fraction of the cost. It surpassed my expectations! and service was great, shipped fast, I received it within 4 days.

The cable works well; my only sort-of issue is that its length makes it prone to kinking/twisting, but that's going to happen with pretty much any cable in this price range. (It says it's "snagless" but I already see distortions after a few weeks.) It stays in the data port well; it's more stable in this regard than the "comes with the router" version.
I may have been able to get away with the 50 footer, I but didn't know that for sure. My advice is to measure the areas you're likely to go before ordering. Most folks are worse at estimating distances over 10 feet than they think!
Overall, good value for money if you need a very long cable. I was between 4 and 5 stars for this, but went with the 5.

Pros: Great quality and price. Physical connections are snug, but not too tight. LONG! Virtually snag free. Solid speed and connection.
Cons: Ugly gray (see below).
First off, I agree with all the 5-Star ratings, its a great cable. However, I reserve perfect ratings only for those things that "wow" me or really exceed expectation. Its an ethernet cable - I just can't give it a perfect score for something this common :). Anyways, my only con comes from the fact that this is a LONG cable. This generally means its going to be laid out and visible. If I had a white one, it would be nearly invisible where I ran it along the molding. If gray doesn't bother you and you're not me - its probably a 5-Star item!

This 100 foot ethernet cable works as intended and at a great price. Cable shielding could use some kink resistantance. This was only a one time issue as this was used in an "install and forget" wireless router to Xbox 360 connection. The 100ft cable bridged the more than 50ft wired distance effectively between a network access point and internet ready devices without WiFi capability. The cable does what it supposed to do. It works.

It's long and cheaper than buying the wireless attachment for my xbox. What more could I ask for?

What's to say? Great deal on very good cat5 cable. The cable works and it is well constructed. If you're buying this for about $15 like I did then you'll be VERY pleased.

Its difficult to review such a simple item, after all...it's a cable. But it does what it says it will do, works well and have not had any problems with it whatsoever.
