Stays on, clear sound

I had an earpiece like this one that broke so I bought it again because I liked it so much. It stays firmly on the ear without being uncomfortable and I can hear perfectly clearly and people tell me they hear me clear too. I'd buy it again.

I wish more people would be safer drivers and purchase one of these! I have tried other headsets with boom pieces and earbuds, and nothing seems to stay in my ear well! This flexible ear piece is great, feels great. I hear just fine and have heard no abnormal complaints from the people I am speaking on the cell with. Normal wear and tear is the only reason I'm replacing this now, and I'm not even interested in shopping around for another brand. This is it! My only complaints are: a) flexible ear piece came loose/free after some time, but was simple to superglue right back on! Can't even tell! b) As with any headphone earpieces I've ever bought, after time the cord by the actual plug base seems to "weaken" somewhat - not visibly - but seems to be very sensitive to movement and cuts out frequently. I think this is with the normal wear and tear handling of these types of cords, as I have experienced this very same thing with other music headphones of other brands, etc. Bottom line - this is a very good buy!!!

One broken, one working fine

Items were shipped separately. What a waste on postage. The first one received was not as pictures and what I had ordered previously. It was also defective and I returned it. Still waiting for a replacement.
Second one received is working great and I love these. I had re-ordered this type, because they are very comfortable and work great for the price and size.

For the price and excellent sound, nothing beats it.
Most people I called never knew I was using headset. The ear bud stays in the ear thanks to its design although it's a little tight and may bother some people but with time, it becomes natural. Much better than other headsets I tried in the past (even better than bluetooth).

I have tried many headsets and this is absolutely the best one I've used yet. The sound is great on both ends, it is so easy to put on and it is very comfortable. The thing I love about it the most is that it is so small and compact. It is very hard to find the right headset. I've tried 7 headsets and this is the best one. My bluetooth was too heavy, the sound quality wasn't good and the voice activation didn't work properly. I've had headsets that were too big to fit in a pocket and took up too much room in my purse, some are too obtrusive on your face, another was very heavy and had really bad sound quality. One would fall out of my ear another one hurt my ear. Another one I had took too long to put on and by the time it was on my ear I'd miss a call. This one is small, easy to transport and practically invisible on the face. It is very comfortable, easy to put on, stays in place, and has great sound. It's the best one I've tried.

Poor packaging, broken mouthpiece

It's kind of a shame, but I ordered two of these units based on the feedback I'd researched.

When they arrived, I opened up one of the boxes and the plastic packaging that secures the device had caused the mouthpiece to split in two!

I figured it was a fluke, but when I opened the second unit, the same problem occurred.

I sent them back to amazon, and the they were gracious to credit the purchase.

Generally, Plantronics has great quality...I guess they picked the wrong packaging and distribution contractor.

Great headpiece for all us out there who haven't gotten that new bluetooth enabled phone or just think those wireless headsets are just too damn clunky and doofy!!! Anyway this piece is great: nice length and strong wire, good craftmanship, clear audio both inbound and out (people seem to hear me alright). Interchangeable plate things are a nice extra but not exactly anything special ...Definitely a must buy especially for the price!
