I've had excellent luck with this type of ID box. This is my 2nd one and am thinking of buying another. The display is large enough you don't have to squint to read it.

My wife wanted caller ID for her office phone due to a spate of recent hangups and because she sometimes could not clearly hear the the call back numbers people left on her answering machine. This item filled the bill perfectly. It has a large, easy to read display, saves and can display the last 70 numbers, and allows you to auto dial any of the displayed numbers with a press of the "dial" button. My wife is extremely pleased with the GE caller ID

The gadget was in working order when it arrived. Battery life is short, and it does not work on phones that are part of a larger network (such as an office)unless that particular phone is a caller-ID enabled phone.

I got it in good time. It was easy to turn on and works good. I really like the large display and how it fits near the phone. I truly recommend this product.

Can Barely See the Numbers

Don't expect a nice clear display like the one in the product shot. Even at the highest contrast, it's hard to see the numbers.
Caller Id Box 2008-04-11
The numbers are large and easy to read. Its cord to the outlet is attached permanently, which is a drawback. I needed a longer in cord on it and will have to get a couple peices to acheive that. Other than that it is easy to use and works perfectly.
