Perfect household stepladder

This ladder was just what I was looking for: very lightweight, folds easily and compactly, and is reasonably priced. Tall enough for most small jobs, and small enough to keep in a closet rather than the garage.

Perfect Everything Ladder

It is perfect for me in terms of the purpose I plan to use it for. I am a serious amateur photographer, this ladder will help me get a vintage point of view. It is so light I can carry it to scout for a "good" view without feeling tiresome. When I leave my tripod in my SUV, I can rest my camera on top of the rail. It is a 3-step and it is high enough that you can see the difference in the image. I've seen Amazon offered a 2-step featherweight but it is not high enough and I didn't get it. I'm glad I've waited. It is short enough to fit in the cargo area of my vehicle. It is stable and the guardrail gives you that extra sense of safety. My only suggestion: If you plan to use it on the snow field, the smooth aluminum step surface is very slick. I bought some 3M 4-inch wide self-adhesive coarse-sandpaper-like strips and put them on the steps.
They work like wonder. HomeDepot carry that, in the paint department.

Great Lightweight Household Ladder

This is a wonderful, lightweight ladder that folds virtually flat for easy storage. In fact, we love this ladder so much, we own two! We keep one in our broom closet on first floor, and the second in our garage for reaching tall storage shelves, or washing the roof of the SUV. When needed, we simply grab the ladder and easily carry it with one hand. The 225lb capacity is more than adequate for our use. The ladder is very stable with wide, comfortable steps. The extended height handle is a nice "safety touch" that leaves you feeling "safe and secure" when standing on the second or third step. We also have a "Little Giant" (which is also a great ladder) for bigger jobs, but the Polder is clearly pressed into service more often than the much larger and heavier "Giant".

This is just a great ladder for normal household use for most inside jobs. It's so light, you won't hesitate to use it often. Caution: it does have a weight limit of 225 lbs. so if that's an issue, take note.

Could have been packed better. It arrived with a small dent!

Just what I wanted

I had used my mother in-law's Polder 2 step ladder before. The design on this one had been updated a little. This ladder is light weight because of the aluminum extrusion used for its construction, you can haul it around with just one hand. Excellent quality, and Amazon had one of the best prices around. Just be weary, the maximum weight limit is 225 lbs, so don't have any linemen climb up on your ladder.

I moved into a new apt that is small but high ceiling (in nyc, go figure..), so to solve storage problem my roommate and i need to go skinny and vertical. we're both 5' short girls and pretty much handicapped around the apt, so i decided to get this light weight ladder... tho this is really much on the expensive side, but i think it's well wroth it.

tho the ladder is a bit larger than i'd expected (but also i have no concept how large a 4' ladder would look like...), but it was easy for me to subway it home because it's so light. and i was able to hide and hang it up on the wall behind my door with two nails, so that made me very happy. also the ladder is great looking too and very slick.

the only complain i have with this is the way the ladder collapse, i guess it's not any different from any other ones, but you just have to be careful not to get pinched.

Very useful ladder

This ladder is very light weight and easy to handle. It is tall enough to be useful and light enough to be easy to move. I had previously owned a similar Polder ladder, and wanted another. This one is even better than the previous model in that they have eliminated a pinch spot between the folding top step parts. A great small step ladder and well worth the money.

wonderful to carry, somewhat precarious to stand on

Overall I'm happy with this, especially how light it is, and how little space it needs when folded. But I don't think anyone has mentioned that he steps are pretty narrow. On the second and third steps I feel a little uneasy. Although the rail helps, I wish they were just a bit wider.
