A good collection of some of B. McKnight's finer songs
2008-02-21
This "Hits" album is a nice collection of some of the better songs that Brian McKnight made from 1989-2002, so there are a few very good songs of his that I like that aren't on here, which he relased in years following, but I'll take the one's I can get on here. Of the 15 songs that are on this one, you get 2 classics, 1 almost classic, 1 I skip and 5 are ok, the others are good or great songs. He has guests on 3 of the songs. The man is obviously a very talented singer and songwriter but he also produced the majority of the songs on here, showing that he is very talented and one of my favorite R&B singers of the 1990's and 2000's. A must have album for fans of some good R&B.

This is a good CD because all of his hit songs are on 1 cd. It is a "gotta have" if you are a Brian McKnight fan.

Great way to introduce someone to Brian McKnight. Now own all of his music.
Essential!
2007-02-16
This is an essential album for Brian McKnight fans! Most of his popular tracks are on this album, including "6, 8 , 12", "Back At One", "One Last Cry", and "Anytime". If you're a fan of smooth ballads and relaxing slow jams, this is a must-have for your collection. I know downloading songs on to computers is a hip thing these days, but if you're still old school, and enjoy collecting CD's, this isn't a bad one to have. This has to rank as one of my top 10 favorite albums of all time!

still dig his first album the best overall from his catelog, but these songs reflect a Artist who is a very talented vocalist, songwriter, producer, arranger&overall instrumentalist. I hope we get more of his talents in the years to come. this is a Good Collection that showcases a very Talented Artist.

Essential Brian MnKnight

If you own any McKnight album it should be this one, because with 'From There to Here' you get all the best tracks, the tracks that you'd listen to had you bought the full album anyways...and that's in no way to discourage you from listening to EVERYTHING Brian has put out, but you should start here, because this truly is his best. Sporting to unreleased tracks that do well, the real gems are the hits that made Brian as famous as he is now. Sure, everyone loves 'Back at One' and everyone has heard 'Still' (one of my personal favorites) but gems like 'One Last Cry' and 'The Only One for Me' stand out as reasons to buy this album. '6-8-12' is here as is 'Anytime' and his smash hit with Mase 'You Should be Mine'...Every track here is a hit, and is sure to be a favorite and thats why this album is so essential...with every song a chart topper you know there is no room for filler. This is one of my favorite CD's and is essential for every man who wants to romantisize their women. She'll love this, and then you...

Brian McKnight has a gorgeous soulful sound to it and he's amazing. He can make you weak in the knees with not only his voice, but the lyrics too. He's the best. I love Crazy Love, Anytime and of cource Back At One. Love Of My Life is excellent - there is hardly a bad song on here. Back At One would have to be the song that made him a little more well known, and the fantastic duet Love Is with Vanessa Williams, but true RnB lovers have had the pleasure of listening to him croon for some time now. He's in my top 10 of male singers. I wish he'd bring out another new cd. It's only been about a year, but I need a new fix from this talented, heavenly singer.
