Does the job it says it does...

The bike rack works just like it says it does. However you will notice that the pictures are always of 2 men's bicycles. This is because it is more difficulte to get a woman's bicycle, let alone 2 of them, on and off the rack. Also, once you set the arms into the post, it is a pain to get them back out, so I would recomend having a friend put the arms in while you hold the bike at the level you want it at. Also start with the bottom bike or put the top arm at the very top part of the post to allow yourself the most room to get the bottom bike on and off.

Does what it is supposed to do.

This bicycle rack is pretty good for what I want. I would recommend this item to someone who has two bikes and little room in their garage.

Disappointing

Received the package with holes in it. One minor part, a plastic end-cap, was missing. I put the stand together per the instructions and it would not stand upright. There was a manufactory flaw. I exchanged the stand for a new one and it was flawed as well. The stand was crooked. I returned the second one for a refund. Very disappointing. This product shouldn't even be sold.

Freestanding it's not

The name for this product is quite confusing. It doesn't (as the name suggests) stand freely on its own. It actually leans up against a wall. Which works fairly well, if you have a nice free space on your wall as long as your bike. Which, if you did, you could probably just install some hooks and be done with it. So, in all, not the most useful of products.

Bike rack hits the spot

This rack was together and up against the wall within 10 minutes of opening the box. Holds both our bikes within 10 feet of the door and it is everything I wanted for the right price.

exactly as advertised

I don't usually review stuff. These were perfect. Just as advertised. Easy to assemble, very versatile. Fit all 4 of my bikes, each with a pretty different frame design, without any problems.

Perfect Stand

This is a prefect stand for the garage. Yes it is not free standing but all you have to do is use the necessary hardware to mount it to a wall and it is solid as a rock. I have two full suspension bikes on it and it performs well (14.5" and 18"). I would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a great storage rack at a low cost.

Works fine, but terrible shipping packaging

The rack works as promised. It works without a bolt to the wall, but I was very afraid of what would happen if somebody bumped it, so I screwed it in. However, it just takes one screw, so it doesn't damage your wall too much.

It will fit two bikes ok, provided they are not both really large. My husband's bike (he's 6'3") and my bike (I'm 5'7") use the very top and very bottom of the range. Two XL bikes might overlap.

The biggest problem is that this big heavy steel thing ships in a small, unpadded box. Mine came pretty beat up and missing one rubber foot. The box was ripped open from the weight of the stuff inside, and the bottom U-shaped piece was dented in a few places from the other pieces hitting it in transit. Not enough for me to complain or return it, just enough to make me grumble and decide I'd rather have a working bike rack now than a pretty one with all the hassle of trying to return the thing.

Great product for the price!

My son needed to store his bikes in his small apartment. I bought this for him and it was easy to set up and he has so much more room. He has it in his living room and it is actually attractive...like a sculpture. I was afraid it was not going to be sturdy enough, but it is very sturdy and functional. He loves it because he loves showing off his bikes. Good buy and very practical.
