Not bad for a cheap 2.1 system

I mainly use these speakers for web surfing and playing sound for youtube videos. The sound quality is not too impressive, but for the price, what can you expect? They do have a lot of bass. Worth it only with free shipping.

These speakers are horrible, they are built very cheaply. I'm afraid that if I leave them plugged in they will start a fire. Bad purchase on my part. I wanted something cheap but this is crazy!
Perfect for what they are. 2008-01-08
I purchased these speakers for my wife as she only needed a basic set of speakers. I was very pleased to find that they are well worth the price and better than I had expected. Though smaller than I had pictured they put out a very decent sound that is well enough to listen to music and play games.
If you're in the market for a budget set of speakers then these are the perfect pick.

I was looking for some computer speakers to use temporarily and I took a chance on these. I wouldn't rate them as highly as the other reviewers. Playing one video I heard a high pitch squeal sound, so I plugged in a different set of speakers and no longer heard that sound, so I'm returning them. Maybe I just got a defective set of speakers.
