Easy, secure and travels well.

Bought for my 9-month old for travel, took it with to Europe where high chairs are as common in restaurant as in the US and found it very convenient. Very easy to strap on securely on a regular chair.
Dangerous!

I have contacted the company, as this seat should be put on a recall list. My son weighs half of what the spec says it can, and the bottom detaches and the tray falls off, so your child can have a dangerous fall if the seat is secured to a chair. If you do happen to have this product, do your child a favor and keep it on the floor.
Don't waste your money...

I am shocked to see anyone who likes this chair. I have had it for almost a year and am thoroughly disappointed in it. The back falls off, it doesn't sit level in the chair, and the adjustable seat has fallen out several times causing my son to fall down to chair level. I'm currently searching for something more stable.
love it

I have had this seat for 5 years. I love it I use it every day for my daughters and for my daycare children. I love that it can go in the dishwasher at the end of the day to be sterilized, and I love how the kids can't escape from it like they can from my highchair. I plan on buying more of these chairs.
Love it! Swing function is a MUST.

I purchased this booster seat when my daughter (now 4 1/2) was almost 2 years old. I found it to be a great value and purchased a second to have at grandma's house. -for the price, it was worth purchasing a second instead of taking it apart and bringing it over to her house then back home 5 days a week.
Fast forward to now, and I'm using the same 2 booster seats for my son. I have not had to replace anything on either booster, and he uses them at least 2 times a day, every day. They have been through the dishwasher several times, though I find it just as easy to wipe them down with a sponge.
The swing function is a must. It's so much easier to get a baby in and out without having to worry about the pieces sliding in just so, or getting fingers caught.
All in all, a great value.

Parents can always use a hand at feeding time. The Swing-Tray Portable Booster can be used instead of a bulky, space-hogging high chair, for children over 6 months and up to 50 lbs. The swing-away, raised-edge tray releases and adjusts with one hand, making it easier for a parent to get their child in and out of the seat. And when mealtime is someplace other than home, the lightweight seat folds up compactly for easy transport. Includes three height adjustments so it can grow with your little one, and it's dishwasher-safe so mealtime messes are easier to clean up. Also features a three-point safety harness for added child safety, and two sets of safety straps to secure to standard chairs. When your child is ready, detach the tray completely and push the chair up to the table with the rest of the family. Measures 8.5" x 17" x 8.5".
Tray is worthless

I purchased this chair for use at the grandparent's house when we travel, and it does fine for that purpose. I don't use the tray anymore though, because it falls off when my toddler leans on it, and she is small for her age. It works fine to push her up to the table though.
Better than a highchair

I am amazed at the poor reviews for this booster seat!!! I often base my purchases on product reviews myself so I feel the need to add my own to the mix. I purchased this seat 5 years ago for my son to travel with and decided to use it in place of a regular highchair. I remember having a hard time adjusting the seat height at first so I can only imagine that the reviewers who said that the chair fell apart may not have snapped it together right. I am now using it for my 15 month old daughter (and used it for many baby visitors in between my own two kids) and never had it fall apart nor have any problems with the tray or straps. It is way easier to wipe clean than any other seat I've used and really quick to unstrap to take along or pack away. My daughter is 21 lbs and she has plenty of room to grow. I would have paid much more for a seat that has served so well.
I LOVE THIS CHAIR!

My son got this chair for his 1st birthday. I wish we'd had it from the start.
We've been using it for over 3 months now and I haven't got a single complaint.
It's ridiculously easy to clean and there's nowhere for food to hide.
I haven't had any problems with stability and sturdiness.
My son is pretty mellow and tends to sit calmly during meals however
so I can't say how it would hold up to roughness.
That said, I highly recommend it.
This is a fantastic chair!! The poor reviews are baffling.

I had this chair for my first son - its the only chair we ever used. We loved it, but for some reason I wanted to try a real high chair with my second son, and we did - an expensive Peg Perego one. I hated that chair because it so hard to clean and it just didn't have a good fit, so I bought a new First Years Swing tray booster for him, and I love it!! I should have just stuck with that with my second one from the start. I have never had a problem with anything coming apart or being loose. It is the easiest thing to clean, especially with the tray cover. My son has a much easer time eating in this chair and there is far less mess on the chair. If there is, its a breeze to clean up. For a really good clean, you just take it apart and wash it, along with the straps and its like new. I guess some people must have got defective chairs, or maybe didn't assemble them correctly, because this chair is great in my opinion. For $20, its one of the best value baby purchases I can imagine.
