Sweet magazine for grade-school girls

Hopscotch is a sweet magazine which is filled with craft ideas, recipes, fictional stories, and factual articles that the girls I sent it to thoroughly enjoyed. It centers on one theme each issue, such as Dolls or Horses. The innocence or quaintness of the magazine's articles coupled with a lack of advertising is refreshing today. One of the girls is requesting a Hopscotch gift subscription for Christmas this year. I only wish it was a little less costly but it's worth it. Highly recommended.

slow delivery

I ordered this for Christmas for my neice as well as 2 magazines for my nephews, her brothers. They received their magazines within 6 weeks. She didn't receive the first one until May, the second arrived in September. She should have received every 2 months. I am looking for a different magazine for her for this year.

Takes a long time

When ordering this magazine you have to wait a very long time before the first magazine arrives. I ordered this magazine for my niece in March and it is now May. The first magazine is suppose to arrive late May early June. I cannot give this product a good rating because the product has not yet arrived.

Worst Magazine!

This is the worst magazine ever! The most boring magazine I've read! I've read this magazine and is so boring! I rather read Discovery girls, Gl(Girls Life) or American Girl. I hate this magazine! Plus this magazine has no ADs either! BORING! BORING! No girl in my class even likes this dumb magazine at all neither my friends!!!!

Hopscotch- Not that great...

I subscibed to this magazine about a year ago and I'm a little disapointed every time it comes. It is a good magazine because it doesn't talk about boys, makeup, etc. and because it is advertisment free. But some of the articles are very boring. Every month Hopscotch has the "issue" and last month it was Elephants. Yes, elephants. I was really bored flipping through magazine and learning about things that I really don't think I'll really need to know in my lifetime. I did learn a little, but overall, it was boring. Also in the section "Potsy's Post Office" kids can write in and say anything they want, usually mostly about the magazine. And most of the kids who write in sound VERY babyish. Another section they have is about knot tying. I really think that not very many girls care about knot tying. Hopscotch says they are aimed at girls ages 6-14. It may be a good magazine for 6-9 year olds, but I feel bad for any 14 year old getting this magazine.

Pure dumb crap

I got this magazine when I was 9 or 10 and I'd groan every time it came in the mail. The stories aren't that interesting and I hate how they center it on one thing. What if you hate the thing the issue is about? Then its like you'll never read it.
