Braun 370 Shaver

My youngest son, a US Marine stationed in Irag, needed a shaver that was battery powered, light but sturdy, and that could do a nice job on his light beard once a day. Looked at many brands, checked spec's, purchased the Braun 370, and shipped it to him. He got it, gave it a test run (as did many of his squad-platoon), and he loved it. They asked for many more and I shipped same. Cost per unit great: under $20 @. Two batteries will do 50 shaves. Only drawback I found was that it is not for anyone with a "heavy, tough, daily growth".

After years of using every brand and many types of razors I finally found one I definitely recommend. The best thing...it's by far the cheapest! Not only does it give a great shave it is ergonomically just right. It fits perfectly in hand. The trimmer on it isn't the best but I bought it to shave and use a separate trimmer. Batteries (2 AA) due tend to run low after a few shaves, but hey that's why their are rechargeables out there. I love this little razor and it's cheap enough to have two lying around. One in the car and the other for every day use. Great job Braun!
Great travel shaver at a great price 2008-07-08

not great on tough beards

Did OK in a pinch. I have a tough beard to shave and I have to repeat shaving 2-3 times, but it did finally work sufficiently.

best AA battery-powered shaver

I've had this model and the previous Braun AA shaver for many years, and find they are great for traveling, and weekend use at home. I especially like it on long road trips camping, not having to worry about recharging. It cuts pretty well, as long as you give it a few passes (I find 4 is good), so it's not particularly fast.
My only grip is that I've had two of these recent models (the 370) and the foils broke quite quickly on both. After some searching I found replacement foils, but I'm a little disappointed about two failing (one after < 7 days use). However, I like it enough to stick with it for now.

I prefer this "travel" shaver to the much more expensive cordless shaver I have at home. Well worth the price!

Found this product at my local mall... for more then triple the price!!! When I found it at Amazon thought... can't be!? Sure enough it was and the product is all it is described to be!!! Awesome!! My Husband loves it!!!!!!!!!
Great shaver at even greater price 2008-05-25
I've had several shavers...rechargeable, cord etc. This one not only shaves just as close as the others, I use high capacity rechargeable batteries in it, and so far, two weeks later I'm still shaving everyday. Great design and I like the idea that the cap is attached to the shaver...no more losing cap. Since most of the time the cap gets lost during travel, while it's in your bag, and that's how the head stands to get damaged. I canned the other expensive rechargeables since the battery often will not last the amount it claims to last, and now you have a $80 - 100 shaver that's useless since it will no longer hold a charge. Cleaning on this shaver is very simple, just follow the directions.
