Bought this product for job related purposes. Works great! I work in a very rural area so streetlights are not even thought of. If there is no moon out then it can get to be pitch black. This light seems like it is almost as powerful as the spotlight on the patrol vehicles. Make sure you keep it charged because once it starts to dim you don't have too much time left. Thinking about a second battery very soon just for that reason. As long as I keep it charged in the car I can usually go through a full shift with no problem. Would definately recommend this product and would buy it again if need be.

Streamlight ultra stinger flashlight 2008-02-15
This is my 4th streamlight ultra stinger I am a home inspector and use my flashlights more in one month then the average person would use one in a year. These are the best possible flashlights available period. If you have a mag light and think its good your wrong. I have dropped these flashlights off of roofs more then once onto concrete and it does not faze them. The buttons do go bad once in a while but they have a lifetime warranty and I have never had a problem getting them fixed under warranty. Police use these flashlights as well so that should tell you something. I highly recommend you throw away any flashlights you have and get one of these. They are rechargeable and come with a house and car charger. I have had so many because I had a tool bag stolen out of my truck with 2 in it as I keep a backup so I had to buy new ones. I have been using the first 2 for 7 years when they were stolen and only replaced the batteries less then 2 months ago. I did my research long and hard and Amazon had the best price bar none with super quick shipping.
Pricey, but worth it! 2008-01-15
Before receiving this flashlight, I was using a Maglite 3D nightly. The Ultra Stinger is considerably lighter, just as tough, and *amazingly* brighter. There is really no comparison between the two. With the focused beam, the light carries easily for a half mile. I was showing it to a friend a few nights back and he commented, "It's almost too bright." Ridiculous.
This is by far the best flashlight I have ever owned.
Very good light for short run time 2007-11-05
This is an excellent flashlight with a very concentrated beam. I bought it for hunting and it is perfect for seeing long distances. Obviously the trade off for high output is the shorter battery life, but with rechargeable batteries and home and auto charger it is perfect. Get it.

I received my item within the scheduled time frame. I was concerned at first because I did not receive any tracking information or email confirmation. Ultra Stinger Flashlight 2007-03-13
The Ultra Stinger flashlight is light weight and provides excellent lighting in tight places. The battery lasts and the output does not seem to dim over the time that I use it. Having an ajustable focus is handy in certain situations. I would buy it again.
