My kids want to hear this constantly in the car and I don't mind a bit! I think it is hilarious that they now know all the words to Bicycle Built for 2 and Surrey With the Fringe on Top.
Great for a road trip 2007-09-26
Drove to Disney World with this in the CD player for my then 5 year old. I'm not sure who liked the CD best, Mom, Dad or little one! It's been a few years now, and whenever I hear one of the songs from the CD, It takes me back to our first road trip as a family and brings smiles. Definitley a great listen for all of the family, and the songs are catchy and deliver a great message for all.
I like Bob and Larry 2006-11-05
The songs are ones we all know and maybe love but it is Veggie Tales and that is always a big winner with my children. I happen to like Bob and Larry alot myself and don't mind putting this CD in the car for the children to listen to while doing my errands. It is good.
Fun CD 2006-07-02
This is a fun CD to play in the car. My son just loves it.
Veggie Tales 2006-06-25
Veggie Tales is music that I love for my grandchildren to listen to. It is entertaining and fun for the children. It has combined fun and laughter with teaching the word of God.
Clever, Fun, Cute 2006-04-27
This CD is a lot of fun to listen to for the entire family. The songs are all fun and the dialogue in between the songs are clever and use a lot of things kids say while traveling. This brings out great laughs from my kids, and I even found myself smiling at a lot of the puns and silly jokes.
It's a great CD to listen to when on a long trip, or just a jaunt around town. The price can't be beat, either.
My kids and I all recommend this CD.
If you like the Veggies, you'll like this CD 2006-03-09
Great fare for around town driving . . . this collection of kids' songs is cute in the typical Veggie format, including a retro-60's version of "Ease On Down the Road" (my personal favorite). Of course, like all childrens' music, it gets old after 38 repeitions, but if I have to "pick my poison", this CD is definitely it!
Dirty Lyrics?

I read the reviews about how certain customers were shocked to find out that "On the Road Again" was on this CD, and they were wishing Big Idea would put "songs with cleaner lyrics" on their CD's. Having never heard the song all the way through, I hunted down the lyrics.
Know what? There's not one bad word, one sexual reverence, or even a jab at anyone's religion. It's just saying "We're best friends, we're on the road, and we're going to sing the whole way". Basically.
Please, people. Big Idea is run by parents. Mike (voice of Larry) wouldn't sing something on a CD that he wouldn't want his six-year-old daughter hearing, much less your children. On the newer DVD's (Duke and the Pie War, Little Joe, etc..), there's this mini-commercial of Mike's daughter (from the commercial at the start of King George and the Ducky VHS), and then you see "Why we do what we do". Now, does that sound like a comapany who would put dirty songs on children's CD's?
Great Songs, fun and hilarious 2004-10-12
My daughter loves to listen to the Veggie Tales. We bought 5 Fun Songs first and then this one. She sings along with them, as do myself and her father. This CD made my husband and I crack up.
Very nice CD 2004-06-18
This is a very nice traveling CD. However, I could have done without the "ease on down the road" song from "The Wiz." The words are pretty inappropriate for young toddlers and I really don't want to teach that type of stuff to a young child. Other than that one goof-up, the rest of the cd is just great. If they want to introduce Broadway to the younger set, I wish they would have picked something with "cleaner" lyrics. Hearing Archibald Asparagus singing "Surrey with Fringe On Top" is just plain funny. Great tunes otherwise!
