This is really fun...you get to dress up Barbie, nails, makeup & of course outfits. My 5 year old daughter has lots of fun dressing up Barbie...I even helped out once & enjoyed it myself. Really cute game.

My 8 year old and 5 year old love this!! Anytime a friend comes over, they want to play it too!! Great hit. Gives them a chance to show their creativity and see that too much make up really DOES look bad!! (they go for a "natural look"!!)Enjoy!
ADD: 2 years later, this still one of my kids favorite computer games!
Good game for little girls 2005-11-11
When I first started it was way easy, but I still like it. My favorite part is when we can dress her, do hair, make-up and nails. I love to watch the movie at the end that shows how they look. I am 5 and I have plaved this game a lot! (typed by Mom)

My daughter, like many, is infacutated with everything Barbie, She was 3 when I bought this for her and she played it for hours. I was amazed at how many times she would change an outfit, and slightly horrified at her make-up choices. Artistically, this is a great game. My daughter loved being able to create a look for her Barbie, and I got a kick out of seeing what she would come up with.
First, you choose an event. It could be a birthday party, a movie premiere, a first date etc... and then you basically cycle through 4 boutiques: Hair, Nails, Clothing, and Make-up. Once you finish those you get a short replay of your makeover and then watched a short animation of your finished character participating in whatever event you chose. I think I would have appreciated it more if it gave you more options for the hair. It's inconsequestial fun, but fun nonetheless...definitely for the girly girl.
Great game for a 9 year old girl 2005-10-06
My daughter will be 9 soon and she loves to play this game with her friends. Quite frankly, it is not my favorite game. There is absolutely no educational value to this game. However, my daughter enjoys it so I allow her to play it in moderation. She has had the game now for several months and does not seem to have gotten bored with it. Her friends love to play with it too and they play it together to come up with different designs. This is definitely not for a tom-boy!
I cannot give it more stars because it does not work on Macs.

THIS GAME IS SO FUN.WHENEVER I CHANGE CLOTHES I PRETEND THEIR TEACHERS AND I LOVE CHANGING THEIR HAIRSTYLES FOR PARTIES AND THE GRAMMYS OR OSCARS.

I DO NOT LIKE THIS GAME BECAUSE THEY DONT HAVE IT FOR MACS!!!!!!! I HAVE A MAC AND I CANT GET IT!!! URGGGG!! my friend has it and sounds like such a fun game!!! but they dont have it for macs!!! MAYBE IF THEY HAD IT IN MAC THEY WOULD MAKE MORE MONEY. I KNOW IM SOPOSE TO TELL HOW OLD I AM CUZ EVERYBODY DOES BUT THAT WOULD BE SAMEFUL FOR ME!!!!!! MAYBE IF THEY MALE IT FOR MACS I CAN RIGHT A NICE REPORT. thanyou for reading my report now im gonna try it on my other computer
It Could Have Been Fun - If it Worked! 2006-06-24
My computer meets all of the requirements for this game and then some. But it won't work! My dad installed it for me and it said it installed correctly. Then, when I go to play it, it crashes on me. So I tried again, and again it crashed. my dad uninstalled it and tried again. As I tried to play it froze my computer up and then crashed. It just goes to show you that even if you have a good computer, cheap software still doesn't work.
