Editorial Review
Sony offers the MDR-E828LP Fontopia Ear-Bud Stereo Headphones. Fontopia in-the-ear design fits snugly, yet comfortably inside the ear so you can enjoy music while exercising, skating or dancing. Sony Acoustic Twin Turbo Circuitry uses sound chamber and ducts for improved efficiency, gets high sonic output from your portable stereo. Silent Cap prevents sound leakage, makes your music less likely to disturb your neighbors. Neodymium magnet allows for maximum energy in minimum size. Neodymium is far more powerful than conventional Samarium Cobalt or Aluminum magnets. Compact case neatly stores the ear-buds and headphone cord when not in use and is ideal for carrying in a pocket or purse.

Good sound, cord a bit short 2008-06-24
The audio quality is very good and they allow enough ambient noise in that I can use them while riding my bike. However, the cord is a bit shorter than I would like. Maybe an extra foot would help.

Simply amazing for the price! 2008-06-20
These headphones are nothing short of amazing for the price. The Bass is spot on. Don't mind everyone saying the cord is too short, I happen to think it is the perfect size. Its about 2 1/2 ft long. And that is long enough for me.

Buy them, you REALLY wont be sorry!! I bought 2.

Convenient but backwards 2008-06-20
These are nice little ear buds, the sound is good and you can still kinda hear whats going on in the outside world. my only complaint is that they fit my ears much better when i switch them and put the left in the right ear, and the right in the left ear...

anyone else have this problem?

Good for travel but case doesn't stay closed 2008-06-16
... and the earbuds hurt my ears after a while. It could have been better designed to reel out/reel in the wire, but probably not for the price. It's OK.

You can depend on Sony to deliver 2008-06-01
I was attracted by the great price but did not expect such great sound. They have excellent volume, are comfortable, and have low distortion. A great value! I also love the nice windup case.

Sound good, don't fit 2008-07-20
I ordered these with my sony fm radio because so many said the sounded great. If I hold them in my ears, they do sound great. But, they don't stay in my ears and were such a hassle I threw them away. Maybe it's my ears, but I tried several different ways, to no avail.

Not too bad 2008-07-10
This is a good ear phone for its price. But at times only 1 ear piece works (the left channel) but then it goes back to normal. I still havent figured what the reason is. If it persists I'll ask for a return Overall not a bad product

Headphones 2008-07-07
The headphones work great, they have a lot of bass compared to many other earbuds.

Very Good 2008-07-02
This product quality is very good and it is convenient with winding case. I very like it.

Good quality for the price 2008-06-29
Earbuds do not block outside sound at all, but I suppose that's not something one should expect from this style. Quality otherwise is fine; good bass notes and decently crisp trebles. Not the same as a high-end model, but since I seem to break my earbuds on a regular basis, these are an affordable second-best.
