Editorial Review
The D-Link DUB-H7 2.0 is a hi-speed USB 2.0 7-port hub that is backward compatible with USB 1.0 and 1.1. It provides an out of the box industry standard that allows connection of up to seven USB peripherals or devices to your USB ready PC or Mac. The D-Link DUB-H7 is targeted at PC and Mac users that are expanding the number of USB ports on their system.Designed to provide quick and easy access, the D-Link DUB-H7 provides seven type "A" downstream ports for connecting USB peripherals, devices, or other USB hubs. A single type "B" upstream port connects the DUB-H7 to the host computer or another USB hub, enabling up to 127 devices to be connected by cascading multiple hubs. Configured directly by the operating system, the D-Link DUB-H7 operates seamlessly with both Microsoft Windows and Apple Macintosh Operating Systems. As a standard USB hub, the D-Link DUB-H7 buffers USB data from any attached peripheral in compliance with USB specifications to provide an invisible extension of the USB bus. Supporting both low speed (1.5Mbps and 12Mbps) and hi-speed (480Mbps) devices, each port creates a bridge between the peripheral and host computer.Diagnostic LEDs provide port status for each port and power status.

A Good Buy 2008-07-10
So far I've used this product for 3 months without any issues or concerns. Set up is easy....plug and play. The construction of the unit is solid and looks to be of good quality. Even with 7 ports, the foot print of this product still enables me to tuck it just below and behind my monitor for easy access without crowding up my work space or it getting in my way. Having a separate power supply to power this hub is a good feature especially if you are planning to use it for VoIP connections. I recommend this product.

Compact USB Hub 2008-07-07
The hub is compact, I am using it with a variety of USB products, such as hard drives, scanner, and printer, They all seem to work properly and mount on start up.

Top Notch hub for all those USB connections! 2008-07-06
I bought this because I was running out of USB ports on my computer tower. Plus I was constantly plugging and unplugging cords for my MP3 player and portable 2.5" USB SATA drive.

Now I just have all the cords plugged in to this unit, it has its own external power supply by the way, and I don't have to keep struggling the tower.

Doesn't work for me 2008-07-05
I bought four of these, all at the same time and all from the same vendor. Perhaps it's a lot problem, but they are all junk. They are constantly dropping connection and I have to unplug the hub and plug it back in to get the devices that are plugged into it to be recognized again. I've used these hubs on XP, XP 64-bit, and Vista and they drop connections on all. These are all different brands of computers and in two different physical locations so I know it's not my computer. Cables To Go 7 Port USB 2.0 Hub that I replaced them with has had no problems with dropping connections.

Works like a charm 2008-07-04
I connected all my devices such as mouse, keyboard, all 3 printers and couple of other things to this usb hub. Not only it freed up all my usb ports except for one, now everything is neatly tucked and hidden behind the computer. It worked right out of the box. The only thing I didn't like so much about this hub is the dedicated lights on the panel for each port are always lit whether the port is in use or not. I think that's dumb. Why would you have a light which is always lit regardless of whether you using the port or not?

Works great even when daisy-chained to other USB Hubs 2008-07-24
I totally agree with all the positive reviews here. I have used the D-Link, DUB-7, 7-Port USB Hub for a year now. I have it attached to a Link-Sys 4-port USB for a total of 10 available ports (one port used to connect the two hubs). I have not had any problem setting it up or using it. I can attest to the fact that hubs can be linked together to give you a whole bunch of usable USB connection ports--even linked to other non-D-Link hubs. Highly recommended.

Quick, Easy, Reliable 2008-07-20
This hub was very simple to install and has been problem free. I would highly recommend this to others that need 7 USB ports.

Very satisfactory product 2008-07-16
I haven't had a bit of trouble with this hub, which runs everything I've plugged into it and has solved a lot of problems for me (created by my former, inferior hub). Highly recommended!

Great deivce but needs 110-220 V power supply. 2008-07-16
Works Great. USB to hub cable long enough to place in remote location from computer making it easier to use. Some cables are too short and I've had trouble plugging them into the back of my computer and placing the hub in an easy to access place. This one isn't that way. Wish it had a power off button (would be nice but not absolute necessity). Very light weight. Wish power supply were 110-200 as I live in China. If I was an international traveller, I would think twice about that. Price was great.

perfect 2008-07-13
