In addition, The Movers' debut disc, "Good Ideas," has been named a 2003 Parents' Choice Recommended CD and was named Best Recording for Younger Children by Children's Music Web. Also, "Toothache," a tune about dental hygiene set to an old-school rap beat, garnered a 2003 Great American Song Honor Award and the Caribbean inspired "The Medicine Song" was recently named a finalist in the USA Songwriting Contest. Imagination Movers combine pop, hip-hop, rock and world music with educational themes for kids and their parents. The Movers sing about healthy eating, separation anxiety, sibling rivalry and other topics that relate to being a little kid, but the group's musical style has a decidedly grownup groove. Think Mr.. Rogers meets the Red Hot Chili Peppers. Regardless of how you describe it, Movers music is catchy stuff that parents and children will want to listen to over and over again!

Great for parents and teachers!

I love this cd!! We had it before they were on the Disney Channel and were very excited when they made it to the DC. I listen to this CD with my 3 year old and he loves it. I also used the CD in my pre-k classroom even before my son was born and my kids there have loved it and continue to love it also. I don't mind listening to it at all, the tunes are catchy. Just an overall hit with us!!!

Their music is terrific. Great rhythms and riffs for mom and dad with great lyrics for the kids. I never travel with the kids (infant and toddler) without it.

I heard these guys on TV, and sought out their CDs. I couldn't stand the standard kids songs anymore, but my kids love listening to music in the car. These songs are catchy, have great themes, and introduce a wide variety of music genres.

Inovative Kids music

Bought this because my daughter liked the song she saw on the Disney Channel. She isn't interested in the cd and would rather listen to her cd from Music Together classes. She may enjoy these more when she is a little older however and I think the songs are catchy.

My 2 yr. old and his cousins & friends all danced to the cd right off the bat. Some of the kids have never even heard of them and Loved the songs!! I don't even mind listening to the cd..over, and over, and over. And over again. I have actually caught myself seeing the songs when I'm by myself.

My 2 1/2 year old boy and my twin 14 month old girls love the Imagination Movers and this CD. They constantly request it and love dancing and singing to it!!

I bought my 3 1/2 year old son this CD after I bought the DVD. We listen to the CD every morning when I'm dropping him off to see Grandmom and he will sing the songs all day long. This CD is a must for any music lover. Even the parents will love this CD. The songs are definitely for the kids, but the music and the beats will have the parents dancing.

MOVE Over Wiggles!

OMG - what a breath of fresh air after listening nonstop to the Wiggles for what has seemed like an eternity! The Imagination Movers' songs actually display musical talent and target issues that are important to little kids. My daughter (and my husband) loves "Time Out" - it is just a hillarious take on the toddler-set punishment. I recently ordered the DVD too in the hopes that my daughter (who is 3 1/2) will really bond to them after seeing them and will forget the Wiggles altogether! They are AWESOME! I can play this music in my car and no one who hears it will even be aware that it is children's music. It is thoroughly enjoyable. I can not wait for the Imagination Movers children's show to come out on Disney next year!
