The best, sturdiest, stepstool

This stepstool is PERFECT.
First of all, since it's plastic, it is very light and easy to carry. Plus it's very, very sturdy and stable, no way to fall off of it. It folds up very nicely and can fit in a closet or under a bed no problem.
I would say this stepstool is ten times better than one of the metal ones because it is so much sturdier and also very light at the same time.
I have very high cabinets and shelves since my apartment is "loft-style" and this is really perfect. If you're going to get a stepstool, this is the one.
very sturdy step stool

This stool is a handy height and feels very secure underfoot. It folds to a compact upright size, but is just a little bit tricky remembering where to fold it at.

I had bought one just like it through Amazon a few years ago and it got misplaced during a move. It folds up very compactly and is extremely stable. I would recommend it to anyone.

This was exactly what I was looking for and couldn't find in any of our local hardware stores.

This stool is very handy! Quite big and taller than I expected, but once I got used to it, I realized that I like it much better than the one step folding stool. Glad I bought it!

This product is sturdy, and it folds so that it stands on its' own, but does not fold or unfold easily. It's difficult to do it without hurting your hand somehow. My husband refuses to use it at all. Once open, it's a good product.

If you need something higher than just a one-step step stool, but not so tall as a step ladder, this is perfect. It's strong and doesn't take much room to store. Great product although a bit expensive.
Not for Everybody

I was hoping for something that would be appropriate for a slightly arthritic woman who weighs 250 pounds (well below the 300 pound limit listed for this stool.)
When she stepped on the first step of the stool, the feet splayed ever so slightly. In addition, the first step is too narrow to provide secure footing. No doubt this is a good buy for lighter, more agile people, but not good for people who are fit enough to climb a step stool, but need it to be very sturdy & ample.
