Nice and sturdy, but not as easy as it may seem.

This is a sturdy bed, and my two-year-old loves it. FInding a store that actually carries it in stock may be a challenge. However, it is somewhat difficult to line up the screw/nut retainers with the metal frame holes. Be patient and assemble it properly. This is a nice bed that makes good economical sense, overall.

My son loves his SpongeBob bed. It was the least expensive toddler bed, definitely the one my toddler wanted the most, and it is sturdy with bright, cheery colors. Yes, you do have to put the decals on and assemble it yourself. Most of it I did on my own, although when it came to assembling the slats with the frame, I needed my mom's help, and then it came together quickly.

My son has had this bed for about 4-5 months. He sleeps on it at night and during the day (noon nap). He stands on he bed (now his 14mo sister is in on the act) and the bed is sturdy. none of the problems mentioned by the parents who bought the dora the explorer version.
One thing that stops it from getting 5 stars is that it was a pain to put it together correctly and i suspect those who complain about the sturdiness have not put it together like it should be.
Painted Wood??

The bed is listed as having painted wood headboard and footboard. Not only is it not wood but you have to put your own stickers on. It is blue plastic with yellow metal frame. It is still cute, just not what I expected
Good condition 2008-02-28
I bought the toddler bed for my son. This is his first bed so I wanted to make sure that it would be something that he would love to be in and be comfortable. We received the bed right away. It was in brand new condition. My husband put it together according to the instructions. Once my son saw it he loved it. He loves his spongebob bed and we love that the transition was good. Thank you!
Great Deal 2007-03-15
I think this is a very good deal for the price, my grandson love Sponge Bob and now that he has his own bed he goes to sleep with no problem, he even ask for his Bob Bob that's how he call Sponge Bob(he is almost 2)I'm very happy with the invest :) :).
Excellent 2007-01-15
My son is just so excited about his Sponge Bob bed. He climbs in and out every second thus showing how much he likes it. I like it because it is low and no accidental falling off and hurting himself.

My child loved this bed when he first saw it. He loves to sleep in it. It wasn't that easy to put together though-needs 2 people to do this. Pretty sturdy as my 2yo likes to jump and stand on his bed.

This bed was hard to put together but it was well worth the trouble. It is a great buy for the price. You can't go wrong if you have a little time and patience to put it together.
