The Greatest potty video ever!

My daughter watched this video and was potty trained in an instant! She watched this video when she was two, I gave her lots of juice and water so she had a full bladder and I set her lil potty in front of the tv. I turned the video on and she peed in the potty! And she went on her lil potty from that day on! It was a very successful video, it made her be proud to go on the potty and feel sucesful that she could acomplish the task. I would recommend this video to everyone! My dauhgter wanted to watch it all the time, so I let her! She loves to sing along with the video. And she was fully potty trained by 2 and a half. No problems here! I would recommend this video for anyone who wants to have their kiddo potty trained in no time!

Great Potty Video

I have 3 nephews that used the Boy Version of Once Upon A Potty and now my daughter is using the Girl Version. She loves the video and can watch it over and over. Kids seem to really connect with the character and want to imitate them. She is already sitting on her potty from just watching the video. Amazing!

Not worth the price

The video is way too short and outdated. It's maybe worth $5.00, not $15.00 like I paid!

OK but doesn't hold her interest

This DVD is OK but doesn't hold my 2 year olds interest for very long. She prefers the Go Potty Go DVD over this one.

Piqued her interest

I have had multiple potty books. Even one's that made a flushing sound. Nothing worked. This video as annoying as the song is got my daughter interested. And in days she was going to the potty. I also got the book- not necessary. The dvd was suficent. I would recommend this to everyone. However, this is the only dvd I have tried. Some people have had problems with the language used- hole for pooping, poop etc... I thought it was fine and definitely got the point across. Shows children the anatomy in a cartoon. Like I said before- It really gets their attention, and that's half the battle!

Really working!

I heard about this from a friend who said it was working for her son and she was right. My daughter (2 yrs 3 mths) loves to watch it and has been using the potty regularly since we got it. She has a while to go but it's working and she loves song.

I have loved this little movie for 11 years of potty training!!

I have loved this little movie. I wish the parents portion and the childrens portion were on different tapes/dvd's.
I have the girls version and have used it for my 2 older girls and even my son, and am now using it again for my youngest.
We use different terminology, but my kids have all loved it and have all potty trained while using it.
I put their potty in the family room by the tv and they "sit, and sit, AND SIT..." while watching their "potty video".

An effective little movie!

My little girl liked Prudence and the little potty chair. Yes, the potty chair doesn't look like the potty that everyone I know uses, but my two year old wasn't that analytical about the look of the potty. She knew what the little girl was trying to do- what she herself tried to do, and failed. When that little girl made the "poo poo" in the potty, my daughter went into the bathroom and sat and did it too. She must have thought that if SHE can do it, I can too.
This was an effective little movie for us! Cute and to the point, with other babies to see too.

Great if you plan to use a chamber pot.

This DVD is weird. It looks like the little girl is peeing in a water pitcher. We sent it back along with the book.
