Olay Regenerating Serum

I am 43...and I have to admit that I have never tried all the skin care products out there. I guess I was never 'into' thinking about my appearence much to consider I needed to take any time to care for it. I rarely wear make-up either, but only now have decided that maybe it's time to do something with the lines, wrinkles dullness in my complextion.
I myself have normal skin type. No oily spots or drying in certain places....but as I said...my skins looked dull. I bought this based on reviews, as well as other products in the 'Regenerist' line and I have to tell you...not only do I love the way it feels after using it...but love the glow it gives my skin. The pink glow you ladies have been talking about is cell regeneration I believe. If you read on the back of this bottle it says it doubles skins surface cells. I believe this is why the skin has a pink appearence after using it. I think I look younger already since using it..or at least well rested and refreshed with a healthier glow to my skin that I have not had in a very long time. I would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to give their skin a pep! I will continue to buy this product as well as their others in this line.
By the way...this is my husbands account...:-) Didn't want you to think a man wrote this.

I have tried several different brands and kinds of face creams that are supposed to help eliminate wrinkles, but Olay's Regenerist has done the best job so far. Additionally, it feels good on one's face, not sticky, which is very important for the tropical climate in which I live (Dominican Republic).
Great for fine lines and overall skin appearance 2008-01-08
After one month of daily use, here is my verdict: This stuff works. It's not magic, it's not a miracle, it doesn't transform every wrinkle and age spot. But it makes your skin look BETTER than before, which is all we can really hope for, isn't it?
I've noticed a somewhat dramatic change in the fine lines around my eyes (no, I don't use a separate eye cream). They are smoother and much less noticeable. The few age spots I've developed seem to be lighter. Overall, looking at my face in the mirror now, I sometimes have to do a double-take because my skin looks so much better and brighter. The permanent dark circles under my eyes are even lighter.
I have acne prone skin and I was nervous about using a new moisturizer, but quickly found that my skin actually CLEARED UP while using this product. Likely, it was due to my regimented focus on skin care in general, but this did NOT contribute to any breakouts at all.
This is one product I can see myself using for a very long time.
ACTUALLY WORKS!!! 2008-01-04
I'm skeptical about skin care products because I never see a difference, but I tried the Regenerist line this week and I literally saw results OVERNIGHT! I used the serum last night and today the lines on my forehead have already all but disappeared. My skin is soft, non-oily, and my pores even seem smaller. Awesome product!

I am a 40 year old mother of 3, and I've been using this product since receiving a free sample in the mail when the product was introduced several years ago. I have been using it faithfully 2x per day ever since... and I have NO wrinkles.... I've been taking my 13 year old son to the same restaurant each week for several months, and on my last visit the hostess said, "I've been meaning to ask you, is he your brother or your son. You look so young." I've been using regular Oil of Olay or Generic version of it for as long as I can remember - it's the only sunscreen I can use on my face without an allergic reaction. I think my nice complexion is attributable to my daily regimen, including these Olay products. They're wonderful!!
NOT fragrance free

While there may be no added fragrance, this product is definitely NOT fragrance free. It has a very chemically odor that is quite strong. Strong enough that my husband could smell it on me about 5 hours after i had first used it. That being said, it did seem to be of some benefit, although i cannot use it due to the smell.

I know most people who use this product are women, but I must say that I am a 30 year old male that has been using this product now for about three weeks. My skin is noticeably smoother and more even-toned. I don't really have wrinkles to speak of, but I do notice a wonderful glow and softness to my skin that I have never had before. Additionally, the area around my eyes seems more toned and firm. I've tried many products and I must say that I was pleasantly surprised to find that Olay (one of the cheaper among the items I have tried) worked most effectively (and without irritating my VERY sensitive skin).
This serum really works! 2008-05-05
I had originally been sent a sample of this serum through the mail. I used it one night without thinking it would do much-- I was wrong. I am 23 and I am starting to notice my skin look a little dry, not quite as tight, and just not what it used to. This made my skin feel so soft and smooth and tight in the morning. I will definitely continue to use this--hopefully this will prevent my aging as I go into my late 20s and 30s. I'm not sure how this works for older ladies-- hopefully you can read the other reviews for that. This is pretty reasonably priced and it lasts a good time for me.
Disappointing 2008-03-13
I had high hopes for this product, but I have to be honest and say that I cannot notice any difference in the way my skin looks in the 2 weeks I have been using it. People tell me I have "good skin" to begin with, however I do have lines around my eyes and on my forehead. The only positive difference that I have noticed is that my normally dry skin is less dry. The worst thing is that this product has actually caused me to break out! I can't remember when, if ever, I had pimples on my cheeks. I am going to have to stop using this and continue my search for a good moisturizer. Oh well.
