Nice features. Good price.

It's always hard to say how well surge protectors work, but APC is a respected brand and this model has some nice features at a fair price. One feature I particularly like but isn't described very will is the always-on outlets. These three outlets are surge protected and filtered just like all the others, but they do not turn off when you flip off the power switch. I plug my TiVo into this outlet so that I can turn off everything else with one switch when I go on vacation, but the TiVo stays on to record shows. The quality of the plug-strip itself feels very solid, but the coax and phone cable provided are cheap.

This one was easy for my wife to hook up since it is her computer. The other APC that we had worked well but we did want an upgrade and didn't hesitate with going with the PF11VTC.

very easy to plug in stuff,i like the lil power button which makes it easy for me to turn off at night plsu it has sort of a long wire to connect to the wall

Very nice product, I was initially worried about the size, seems to look a little large in the photo but once received I was pleasantly surprised as it is quiet compact. Seems like a quality unit for a very reasonable price.
As most have mentioned, it is a little difficult to plug something into the the outlets but as others have also mentioned its typically used for long periods of time. Plenty of outlets for two computer and accessories. I really like the 6 transformer spaced outlets, very useful.
Overall, very good product, well designed.

Aside from the surge protection, what I like best about these units, and I own two of them, is the fact that the configuration allows you to actually use all or almost all of the outlet spaces. There is enough room for big and small plugs such that I have only once had one box plug block another outlet space. Fortunately, my building has yet to be hit by lightning, so I cannot speak to ultimate surge protection, but in summer outages, it has outperformed every strip I have had before it.

Good item, but as other mentioned plugs can be difficult to insert. Also, one of 2 failed within 2 months, but APC exchanged promptly (I did have to pay for shipping back the broken one)

Handled my 32in LCD HDTV, 7.1 receiver, Sub Woofer, Wii, Xbox 360, PS3, Cable Box, DVD Player, and a USB splitter for the Xbox 360 with no problems.
The safety covers that automatically pop up when there is nothing plugged into the socket can make it hard to plug things in sometimes. You have to jiggle the plug until the safety cover moves out of the way. Only reason i gave it 4/5 and not 5/5
Nice surge protector 2008-01-14
This seems to be a very good surge protector. I have many different kinds of electronic equipment plugged into it with many different kinds of plugs and it handled all of them with no problem. As far as how well it protects everything, I guess time will tell.

The "plug guards" that are found in the outlets do NOT allow the Sony PS3 pwr cord to be inserted. I ended up having to use my older surge protector to pwr the PS3...bummer.
